After questioning former FBI Attorney James Baker....did YET MORE CORRUPTION of the Obama Swamp Leftovers get exposed in his testimony?

Meadows calls on Rosenstein to resign 'immediately'

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) on Thursday called on Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to resign "immediately."

“I think at this particular point, Rod Rosenstien’s priorities are misplaced. His unwillingness to come before Congress and allow us to conduct proper congressional oversight, along with the other information that we’ve learned over the last week or so, would indicate that Rod Rosentein has not displayed the candor of which would support one’s theory of actually believing that he has been open and honest in all regards," Meadows told reporters.

"So with that, I think that it’s time that Rod Rosenstein steps down. He should do so immediately and in doing that, I think it would serve the country well, it would serve this president well," he added.

~Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), another member of the Freedom Caucus forthright in sharp criticism of Rosenstein, on Thursday criticized Rosenstein for giving an interview to The Wall Street Journal but not testifying before Congress.

Rosenstein told the newspaper on Wednesday that Mueller's investigation is "appropriate and independent."

"Rosenstein interviews with @WSJ where he says Mueller investigation is 'appropriate and independent.' Translation—there’s time for media spin to justify Mueller probe but no time to answer questions from Congress about his statement on recording the President," Jordan tweeted.

Rosenstein got himself into trouble...it's true...but he won't resign and Trump won't fire him until Trump is ready.

For now, Rosenstein is doing Trump's bidding to save his ass.

A political leader always calls for someone to resign. Nothing new.

I can't help but wonder about what beans Baker might have spilled....

More to this than that, as anyone who has been paying attention knows...this isn't the Canadian Whiskey Minister..it's the DEFACTO HEAD OF THE US DOJ....

I bet "theories of actually believing" are popular in congress.

Except for the pesky fact that there's no rational basis for calling for him to resign.

Those gosh-darned facts. Always screwing up what would otherwise be a quality unhinged rant.

I suspect there may be truth in that.

If the reports are true that Mueller is done with his investigation then it really makes no difference. Also it's unusual for someone to be replaced after 2 years of service.

it does look like it's wrapping up, at least from what news articles are implying.

So if he is fired and the reports are true, what's the big deal?

well, if the investigation is interfered with or is prevented from reaching its completion in any way, that would be obstruction of justice.

Which is said to be the subject of what will be announced, along with subpoenas and indictments.

Meadows and Jordan are well known and obvious liars and hacks and no one should take anything they say seriously ever. They are actively seeking to block a legitimate investigation for political purposes. They are corrupt to the core and if anyone should resign, it is them.

It should never come down to one unelected guy like this to decide, surely everyone understands this much.

So many of these people that we got told are "Awesome, the best we have!" have turned out to be crap.

But if the investigation is over and Mueller is just waiting till the election is over to release his findings? Thats SC what's being reported. IF it's true, Rosenstein becomes yesterday's news like countless others

He has outlived his usefulness and it's time to jettison him like all the rest

then why fire him? no worries, right?

Replace him for having a better replacement in mind. That's his prerogative as the leader of the free world

so, you support letting the investigation continue as long as Mueller deems necessary and the findings to be released publicly? conversely, do you you support firing Rosenstein in favor of someone who will limit the investigation?

LYING TO CONGRESS is a LEGAL REASON t call for his resignation....and by all accounts, James Baker's SWORN TESTIMONY directly CONTRADICTED Rosenstein's sworn testimony,

Feel free to keep pretending that didn't happen.

Since when is it "unusual"?

well, if the investigation is interfered with or is prevented from reaching its completion in any way, that would be obstruction of justice.

How does firing Rosenstein interfere with ANYTHING, except the ongoing criminal efforts of the unelected bureaucrats of the DOJ to refuse to submit to oversight by the ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES of the PEOPLE?

Meadows and Jordan are well known and obvious liars and hacks and no one should take anything they say seriously ever. They are actively seeking to block a legitimate investigation for political purposes. They are corrupt to the core and if anyone should resign, it is them.

Yeah the most corrupt "investigation" in history fomented by a seditious conspiracy that began with illegal incursion into the 2016 by the Obama Adm. will be allowed to crash and burn, on its own.

Then the REAL investigation will take place...

It should never come down to one unelected guy like this to decide, surely everyone understands this much.

So many of these people that we got told are "Awesome, the best we have!" have turned out to be crap.

Which is why UNELECTED BUREAUCRATS, like Mueller, (AND ROSENSTEIN) have ZERO AUTHORITY over the ELECTED POTUS, and are BEHOLDEN to CONGRESS, as well as the POTUS.
