Imaging a TV show ridiculing a black family moving into a predominantly white neighborhood, utilizing EVERY NEGATIVE STEREOTYPE there is.

There would literally be RIOTING over it, and attempts at criminal prosecution.

Please explain how the premise of "The Neighborhood" is NOT RACIST....

You certainly have a vivid imagination.

The Jeffersons

The 70's. Not 2018. SANFORD and SON is a better example, as the Jeffersons were NOT stereotypically black...and the white people were ridiculed in that show, as well. We didn't care.

We were an entirely different, and far more racially ADVANCED nation then.

We laughed AT and WITH EACH OTHER, reveling in the comedy of our perceived "differences" while acknowledging our kinship.

No one could make "Blazing Saddles" in today's climate, which is what I refer to, OBVIOUSLY.

I don't know what episodes of the Jeffersons that you watch but it wasn't that at all.

Plus..THEN IS NOT NOW. Take it from someone who was around in the 70's.

So far as I ever watch, the premise of the Jeffersons wasn't just to mock black people. It was merely a comedy centered around a black family.

Stop watching TV. It's all propaganda, especially recently. It's far more fun to watch old television shows and see just how degenerate entertainment has become.

Exactly. Turn the TV off. It's called, "the boob tube," for a reason.

True. And, As I sad...the 70's were FAR MORE ADVANCED than today's racially obsessed climate, which STILL allows blatant ridicule of whites..HENCE the question of the OP:

IMAGINE IF A SHOW WAS PUT OUT...TODAY.,,RIDICULLING BLACKS based on STEREOTYPES.

Everyone has avoided that so far.....

How about answering the VERY PERTINENT question in the OP?

Anti-white racism is open and blatant. This has been going on for years now. I'm not surprised that there's another television show doing it.

Present in advertising , as well.

Why is that "OK"?

What if the premise in the OP happened?

Would the left " laugh it off?"

It's not okay with me, which is one reason why I don't watch TV anymore.

And see the DP left CONTINUE to RUNAWAY FROM THE QUESTION of the OP:

IMAGINE if a TV show TODAY, was put out to RIDICULE a BLACK FAMILY, as "The Neighborhood" does to a WHITE FAMILY.

Keep RUNNING...I'm sure no one has noticed...

In sitcoms everyone gets ridiculed at some point

Every few months someone complains about how men are made fun of in sitcoms, specifically dads

Bull****. Show me ONE , where the entire premise of the show is white people ridiculing a black family that moved into their white neighborhood...

What I find interesting is that with gentrification, this could actually be happening and the black families would be worried.

It would not go over very well. Of course here is the reason why.

See.. while you are offending by what you see as racism.. as white people being made fun off.. based on stereotypes...

in the real world.. my sons who are of two races.. face actual day to day racism.. where they are accosted by people saying racial slurs (yep in school).. and have to deal with discrimination at the job site, in relationships, and god forbid.. I and they have to worry if they are stopped by the police.. because they are a minority.

So... while you have a point that this show.. has racist overtones against white people...

When you have to worry about getting job.. because employers are far more likely to give call backs for jobs to minorities.. vs white people.. then I will take your OP seriously.. otherwise.. sit back and watch another show.

Because that justifies the GLARING , ANTI-WHITE RACISM of the show...got it.

Now, please give us your views on the ACTUAL QUESTION ….

Actually, I'm offended that one group of people can take a joke on themselves, and another CANNOT, when that didn't used to be true.

Watch "Blazing Saddles", Mel Brooks' "History of the World", "Airplane"...when EVERYONE was "FAIR GAME", and we, as a nation, were mature enough to share a laugh over it.

We were a FAR MORE ADVANCED PEOPLE then...( do I even need to bring up THE MUSIC???!!!) , than we are now.

Now you can only insult WHITE PEOPLE.

I blame the emergence of PC Leftgoofyworld.
