Let me get this straight. Donald Trump is whining about Elizabeth Warren's so-called Indian Heritage while he has been accused of sexual predation by 22 different women and is now aiding and abetting a murder.

Trump works on a whole different level than most of our generally failed leaders.

While I'm no fan of Donald Trump, a bit of a fan of Warren, and someone who gives not two ****s about her heritage, I'm scratching my head, wondering how these two things are related. It would be too easy to punctuate anything Trump is concerned about with others with, 'But Trump is a piece of ****'.

I feel that this thread would be more relevant if you were able to pin the president to hypocrisy, in this case.

Winston Churchill had to let a town get bombed to smithereens, and I mean smithereens, because if he opposed it in any way the Nazis would know he had broken their code.
The town was torn up so bad, the Nazis used the town name as an adjective to mean really blown all to hell.

Truman had to pardon or ignore some Japanese war criminals because he needed them to help unite Japan against the Russians.

Lincoln did not free all the slaves. he only freed the slaves in states currently in rebellion. If you were a slave in MO, KS, OK, MD, or KY you were not freed until the constitutional amendment. Did you know there was a group of slaves in Kansas that did not get the word until 1866?

I was hoping that it was actually over something important.

Firstly, she should've taken the offer when he gave it. Though still the joke is on them in all of this, she's not even 1% native American after all of the blustering. Hell, I'm 8% and I don't go around claiming that I'm native American.

The 22 accusers thing is still just as thinly veiled as it was before, so there are no worries there. Then again all it takes for someone to be guilty of something in a leftist eyes, is to be accused of it.

I was actually hoping for some information on the claim of Trump aiding and abetting a murderer. But seeing as the first two points are smoke screens, I shouldn't have hoped for a change in tactics.

Sort of, this issue between Trump and Warren is a distraction. Trump being accused of sexual misconduct speaks to his character, but that is unlikely to alter the opinion of those who support him (it has not yet.)

If we should be talking about anything it is as a leader engaging other world leaders Trump has decided to cause problems with nations we ally with yet cozy up to nations who have a track record of killing people under questionable circumstances (Russia, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, etc.) This is the same President working to dismantle anything and everything having to do with environmental impact. We have a President with a complicit Congress that has decided to further harm our fiscal position. The same group has given the nation a huge black eye over our handling of Immigration, especially in dealing with kids. This same group has given tax gifts to the wealthiest of Americans and now plans to go after the most vulnerable. The list goes on.

But hell no, lets talk about Indian Heritage and #metoo... neither of which seems to move support away from Trump and complicit Republicans.

except the warren stuff is real. she actually did impersonate a native american. Even the cherokees are telling her to shut her trap. Shes less Native American than the majority of white Americans, thats how white she is and she had the gall to claim minority status. Pow wow chow?! What a scum she is. A small thing but it bugs me the word Hyperbole is not pronounced HYPER BOWL - It is pronounced High per bol eeee.

On the other hand " aiding and abetting a murderer " is definitely hyperbole.

Agteed. Elizabeth Warren should have done a DNA test years ago. She could have apologized saying "I have a tiny bit as most Americans do, but I'm not American Indian, I'm sorry." All would have moved on and most lauded her integrity to fess up. Instead she doubled down and made an abject fool of herself.

Said in the context that she was the Democrat nominee and the offer would be made during a Presidential Debate. He talks about all the potential Democrat nominees at his rallies and jokes that he needs to be careful not to knock these weak opponents out and end up with a really tough opponent.

That was SARCASM. I spelled it that way deliberately. Did you not get my added comment about putting a lot of cole slaw in his huge HYPER BOWL?
Meaning a huge BOWL befitting the huge exaggeration they made.

Of course, it loses effect when you have to explain the joke to those that did not "get it".

I found out I was wrong about a supposed Yamamoto comment about " a rifle behind every blade of grass ".
Turns out it was an American officer on some general's staff that actually said it.
