Took me 2 hours and 15 minutes. 1st day of early voting.
When will you cast your ballot?

As soon as the county mails me my ballot.

In November on election day.

I'll vote on election day.

I never early vote. I always vote on election day. It's fun to me - weird, I know. Hubs and I make a day of it, we go vote, and go to lunch, and then come home and watch the election results.

Same here. Well....sorta. We argue first, then vote, then get lunch, lol.

I don't typically do early voting, I normally go on election day.

My wife and I voted absentee last week and dropped it off direct at the township office the same day. All Democrats got our votes.

I like to do mine at home on the dining room table. Gives me time to read all the ballot initiatives, the pros, cons and rebuttals (our state puts out a pretty good voter info packet). When I decide on one I mark it and move on to the next which may be a day or so later. An oh I can have a cocktail or two while doing so.

We haven't got the ballots yet. But, I do love Oregon's vote by mail. There is always time to study all the measures, etc. And we have a gubernatorial race going on, as well.

My daughter likes Washington's vote by mail too. We (Montana) have to sign something every two years to keep on the mailing list.

Good point.

Yeah I'm not chanting it here in this state. The ballots have been available for a while so I knew what my answers would be before I went in there.

Early voting for me is 6am on election day. A Cup of coffee in short line of neighbors all ready to get it done at 5:55. My kind of mob.

Where I used to live, about 10 years ago? Our voting place was literally right across the street. Literally. I walked out of my front door, down about a 110 ft driveway, I crossed the street and was in the parking lot of a volunteer fire department.

It's not that much different now, but then, it was cool to just be able to walk.

Yeah. I wait until the polls open too. You never know when the person you voted early for is going to kick the bucket or get busted for trafficking crack before election day.

On normal voting day. Fortunately, it's very fast in this particular location.

I remember waiting maybe 2 hours on election day in 2008 back when I lived in Cambridge, but it's nothing like that in my current location (which is odd, because it's not all that much less dense in terms of population). Ah well. Can't complain.

I will vote during the early voting window that runs from 10/22 to 11/4.

I may do a straight party vote for the first time since the 1980's.

True. In 2016 I voted before that Comey "reopening the Hillary investigation" bombshell. Not that it would have change things for me, but it shows you that stuff can come up late.

Which is one of the reason why I think presidential primaries should held on the same day all across the country. The other reason is due to the fact that candidates may drop out before the primary election day even happens in your state.

I have already mailed in my ballot. I like to get it done early soon after receiving it.

Yeah. We're at the tail end of primaries here in AZ. In 2016 everyone I was interested in voting for had already dropped out. If Cruz had dropped out I probably would have just skipped the whole thing.

I cast my ballot on Election Day. All the issues are online and have plenty of time to research them as well as candidates and judges beforehand. We usually go out to eat afterward then stop at the store to pickup snacks and adult beverages to watch the returns. The adult beverages are essential as they can ease the pain if your candidate loses or they add to the celebration if they win.
