Hillary lost her security clearnce

She gave it up. The question is "why?".
No Clinton willingly gives up something like that without a good reason.

It could be that she requested to give it up before they yanked it. That would be the smart move.

"Over her handling of secret information on her email server"? Why would she voluntarily give up her clearance over something that she was cleared of over two years ago?

That would be my guess as to the real reason she surrendered it. I don't think sore loser Hillary "requested" it...

Having had a secret clearance I can tell you that someone only gives it up to stop an audit. There is no advantage to giving it up even if you never use it because it looks good in your file.

I get the sense that having clearances can be lucrative; bond fides and all that.
Yeah, Hillary isn't doing this because it's "right".
 
Shes hiding her wrongdoings again. Shes knows whats coming down the pike in November. This witch doesnt do anything that isnt calculated to keep her out of prison. For the astute members who can tell me what is more telling than Hillary giving up her security clearance?

"cleared" is a pretty loose term. I like "escaped" better....

I am not under FBI investigation, as far as I know, but I'm not at all sure that this means I have been cleared of any crime.
 
There's always more at play behind the scenes with the Clinton's.
She's doing this for a reason that advantages her in some way, not out of any magnanimity on her part, of which she has none.

She was being investigated for the improper handling of classified information. She was not charged and she is no longer being investigated. This isn't a defense of her by me, it's just a statement of fact.

Former Secretary of States retain their clearances so they can be called upon when needed, for input during complex matters in the world.
