Stock Market Rebounds, thanks to Pres.Trump, right?

Well....

Since , according to the DP left this week's selloff was ENTIRELY PRES.TRUMP's FAULT, the rebound MUST BE HIS DOING, TOO, right?

Let's see the "THANK YOU's" from all those who were blaming him earlier....just kidding. WE ALL KNOW that the Let Hypocrites will concoct some convoluted BULL**** to still blame him for the selloff (caused primarily by higher interest rates/bond yields), while DENYING HIM ANY CREDIT FOR THE REBOUND...don't we?

Getting popcorn for the upcoming COMEDY !!! :popcorn2:

It is interesting that the stock market did quite well during the Obama years largely due to the Fed; Quantitative easing free money and despite Obama best efforts. Currently the stock market is doing well because of the Trump economy and renewed optimism and despite the Fed. This renewed optimism is strong enough to overcome the Feds efforts to slow the economy.
On the bright side I am earning interest again.

And it has done even BETTER without the false capitalization by the Fed.

The Fed raising interest rates is endemic of a very healthy economy, but unpopular with the stock market and lending institutions.

While increases in the Prime Rate were (obviously) needed, IMHO, the Fed should cool it for awhile at this point, and let the economy absorb the new rates.

He had nothing to do with this correction, just as he has nothing to do with this boom.

Now the big crash that is coming early next year is all on his ignorant policies...

Most people used to understand that the President does not drive the market. It is with this President that takes credit for everything that is not nailed down, that people have been noting that all that moves is not because of Trump.

What we see in the market in the two years since he's taken office is to significant corrections leaving stock watchers to speculate why.

What would be the reason that the 10% that own 90% of US stocks would have to sell off stocks? Good question.

My guess is that the investors who lend the US government money to pay on the interest of the national debt are seeking higher return on their investment. So their agents in the Fed have raised interest rates.

The stock people have had 12 years of cheap money and steady safe growth...the bond people want their cut.

Me longtime guru of the swamplands, Justin O. Peewillie, suggests that Friday rebounds at 3 p.m. are similar to naked short sales to control the price of Gold/silver/intrinsic metals. Intervention is a psychological move to hopefully carry over to Monday and initiate continuing momentum in that positive direction. Very large monetary manipulations are required and that identifies the suspect swamp dwellers, eh? It would seem the revolving door between the Fed, USTreasury and Goldman Sachs would maintain a closet relationship while presenting just exactly the tools and opportunity to negotiate the financial swamp. Tariffs, sanctions, embargoes or interest rates may or may not be causations, but an attempt at correction is a necessity. Or not, eh?

When interest rates go up, or rate hikes are even discussed, the market goes down. Maybe instead of talking about abolishing the EC or the SC. the libs should talk about abolishing the unelected, uncontrolled and un-Constitutional Federal Reserve Board.

As I noted in another thread, the stock market has increased more than 25% in the twenty-two months that Trump has been President.

lol......... everything is un-constitutional.... lol

The Federal Reserve is a group of private bankers completely autonomous from the federal government. The President appoints the Chairman but that is the extent of their control. The Fed controls the money supply and interest rates yet nobody elected them. When you find the Federal Reserve in the Constitution, let me know.

They can't have it both ways. The 2008 sell off was Bush's fault but Trump gets no credit for the surge now. Either both deserve credit/blame or neither does.

I've been arguing to end the fed for years. Kennedy was the last President to issue Treasury Notes, maybe Trump will give it a try.

is your mom in the Constitution?

So she is un-Constitutional..

So stupid....

and of course you, a yahoo on the internet, arguably the least insightful person here is the final arbitrator of what is and isn't Constitutional.

You just cant make this stuff up...

You guys have been saying that since the day he was elected. You should start your own End Times Ministry. Eventually, you will be right.

Re: Stock Market Rebounds, thanks to Pres.Trump, right?

Why isn’t it still George Bush’s fault? What part of the lefts manifesto did I miss?

That might be one of the dumbest comments I have ever seen here. The ignorance of the left, particularly with regard to The Constitution knows no bounds.

Fed will over time hurt the stock market (much worse than the recent moves) and slow the economy or put it in recession. That being said, that seems to be their mandate after they allow the economy to overheat.

The current Fed chief is taking the heat for the last two: Bernanke and Yellen who kept rates to low for two long pumping up asset prices. So we get a busting of the bubble like 2000 and 2008.

Lets all remember the saying : Don't fight the Fed. Worked well for the last 9 years.

Obama did that; only the DOWNTURNS are ENTIRELY Trump's doing.

Haven't you learned?

LOL 2008 sell off? That's a joke, it was a worldwide financial catastrophe. Talk about lipstick on a pig.... Trump has enjoyed the benefits of Obama's economy, the market has been going up for many years before Trump was elected. Too bad he can't match Obama's record on deficits which were reduced every year he was in office. But since no Republican President has ever left office with the deficit lower then when he came in I suppose we should not be surprised.

But, of course; ALL GOOD ECONOMIC NEWS = "Obama Did it".

All BAD ECONOMIC NEWS = "Trump Did It."

Wrong. Interest rated were raised to counter inflation, the natural result of a BOOMING ECONOMY.

They have done ENOUGH OF IT, for now, IMHO.
