Kanye West tells Trump MAGA hat made him feel like 'Superman'

Rapper Kanye West met Thursday with Donald Trump, telling the President in an Oval Office meeting before reporters why he supports the Republican.
"There was something about putting this hat on that made me feel like Superman," West said, as part of an extended soliloquy that spanned topics from his mental health to prison reform to what kind of plane Trump should fly in.
West also said the President is on a "hero's journey."
"Let's stop worrying about the future, all we have is today," West said, commenting on his own presidential ambitions. "Trump is on his hero's journey right now. He might not have thought he'd have a crazy mother-f***r like me (supporting him)."


When I watched this spectacle, I was even embarrassed for the damned furniture. If I was there I would have wanted to duck and hide under the desk but where does a desk go to hide? I was shocked that his diatribe included epithets like 'mother****er' and 'bull****'. Wow whatever happened to RESPECT for the Oval Office. This was all so wrong.

Wouldn't be surprised if Trump selects Kanye to replace Nikki Haley as UN ambassador.
 
Very interesting press conference with Jim Brown.

I 100% with him about kids with ADHD. Those kids shouldn't just be given pills. We need to change out education system to make those kids more stimulated.

Let me get this straight..... a liberal whining about disrespecting the Oval Office? Didn't Bill Clinton getting blow jobs in the Oval Office put a big dent in that idea? I wonder if Bill was leaning up against that poor furniture while Monica's action was underway? Bill probably had sex right on top of that big ol' desk. So that furniture has experienced far worse than Kanye West's bad language. I just hope they used some Lysol on it before anyone else took over.......

I can tell you Kanye West was making a lot more sense than a lot of Democrats last week like Hirono and Booker.
 
West is trolling for attention.

His latest albums have not done very well, and he needs the boost. I expect it will backfire however as I doubt many conservatives buy rap/hiphop music.

Nor do I. And I'm also aware that he has serious mental issues. The issue for me is whether he is "allowed' to express contrarian opinions that others don't like or are very disappointed by.

He has the right to express whatever opinion he wants so long as he's not infring upon the rights of others in the process. But having the right doesn't mean his opinions are at all worthwhile. I get annoyed with our celebrity worship in this country. They're like the worst group to give two ****s about what they have to say.

Then why are you posting in this thread? Kanye brought up a lot of important issues of mental health, issues that I care about since I suffer from mental health issues.
