Contrary to Huffblows (etal-including at least one thread here) attempts to COMPLETELY MISCHARACTERIZE what the FBI Chief said about the Kavanaugh probe what he ACTUALLY SAID is that the Bureau "FOLLOWED NORMAL PROCEDURES" in the Kavanaugh probe.

Apparently, the "UNCORROBORTED ALLEGATIONS = PROOF LEFT", was seeking EXTRORDINARY PROCEDURES, in their desperate attempt to SMEAR Kavanaugh away frim the USSC ...something in the lines of an ENDLESS WITCH HUNT, to "GET KAVANAUGH...NO MATTER WHAT", focusing on prosecuting everyone he knows on who-knows-what.

The Lying Left is still in SHOCK that the Liespeak Smear Campaign didn't work, as the GOP has followed the lead of the President, and started PUSHING BACK against the left's Stalinist tactics...which they had failed to do numerous times in the past.

It's about time.

WASHINGTON (AP) — FBI Director Chris Wray on Wednesday defended the FBI's background investigation of new Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, saying the work was limited in scope and that the "usual process" was followed by his agents.

Wray's comments at a Senate committee hearing on national security threats were his first public statements about the bureau's investigation into Kavanaugh's past and allegations of sexual misconduct dating from Kavanaugh's high school and college years.

You are aware the special counsel has only been around since 1999? You are also aware that anything below the Supreme Court is decided by judiciary ethics bodies set up for the purpose?

Its rare because SCOTUS judges are already clearing most, if not all, ethics hurdles well before they are nominated for SCOTUS and the Special Counsel would only apply to SCOTUS.

This is just another example of why the Kavanaugh nomination was rushed through without any concern for outstanding allegations. In no way was he thoroughly vetted.

The allegations were not credible. The nomination was not rushed. Dianne Feinstein withheld information that should have been divulged to the committee to allow time to investigate but she didn't release it until the last minute to delay the nomination process. You want to whine about something, whine about that.

You know dam well your post is not true. Feinstein withheld information specifically because she was asked to. Somehow the information leaked and she was forced to make it public. Now if allegations were not credible, why has the Chief Justice asked for an investigation.

All of them, when nominated. Roberts is doing what any good judge does, ordering the facts to be followed and seeing if there is any truth to them to prove the allegations true or false.

Its called avoiding controversy.

There are 12 judicial misconduct complaints against Kavanaugh. they should have been investigated before confirmation, not afterward.

Complete bull****. There are no charges, and the USSC does not "investigate". He referred the "COMPLAINTS" to the 10th Circuit Court, where they will finally be laid to rest.
