Hillary Clinton: You 'cannot be civil' with Republicans, Democrats need to be 'tougher'

the republicans hate the clintons because America did better under Bill Clinton than any republican administration in my lifetime!

hell he turned over a country with a balanced federal budget and dick and jr. destroyed the worlds financial system resulting in our present 21 trillion dollar federal debt. Now with a madman at the helm we are adding a trillion dollars a year to that debt.

Where is the irony?

Sore losers? When did we have mob violence during the Obama presidency, congress people shot, kids' hats torn off their heads and drinks thrown on them, statues torn down, screaming at Obama officials in public places, etc? You people have been throwing a colossal fit since November 9, 2016. Face it, the left has shown normal people what they are really all about....power and control. They are hateful, violent, and lack fairness and integrity. I am so glad my brain is not diseased with leftist thinking.

It was because he had a republican congress, who control the purse strings. It was Newt Gingrich's contract with America. Take your blinders off.

i believe we have had a republican congress for some time now. they certainly aren't acting like fiscal conservatives. in fact they try to not mention their present trillion dollar deficit spending or debt ceiling raises or anything about debt. only about tax cuts!

how can the focus of those conservative republican congressmen change so greatly depending on who is in the white house?

Well, it has been nearly two decades since Clinton was POTUS, times and people change. Today's republicans are a bunch of rinos. We really only have one party in congress, mostly.....pretending to care about Americans.

No, and I can't HATE Hillary.
As terrible as she is as a candidate, she worked tirelessly on preserving the one aspect of "Hillarycare" that survived the 90's - The State Children's Health Insurance Programs, also known as "S-CHIP".
Without S-CHIP, my son never would have had the three open heart surgeries he received before age five and he wouldn't have survived.

He's twenty-two now, and if he loses his ACA coverage, which is a platinum plan out of necessity, he will be uninsurable at any price due to his five congenital heart defects, which are "preexisting conditions", and the best he will be able to do is get insurance that covers everything BUT his heart.

And he's looking at an upcoming heart transplant some time before he hits thirty or so.
I think it is absurd to make flippant references to me jumping on the hate Hillary bandwagon so that Republicans will like me, but if that floats your boat, go for it.
I simply believe that Bernie was the much better choice. Unfortunately Bernie hobbled himself with foolish sentimentality.
As much as I supported him, when he lost the primary I did as he asked and pulled the H lever.
Obviously it wasn't enough.
Hillary didn't try hard enough.

Is this not a label that the left is increasingly embracing? Was there not a call to embrace it on Bill Maher? Didn't Michael Moore also say that the DNC needs to stop being afraid of calling themselves full blown socialists? Were not all the deep state actors revealed in the Project Veritas videos card carrying members of the Democratic Socialists of America?

If its not limited to the left, it is overwhelmingly more accurate than the "nazi" or "fascist" mislabeling of the right; its not even close. How many self avowed fascists are there?

No, it's just idiotic propaganda to dismiss ideas without having to consider them. Since it's not actually socialism, it's not socialism. But it's mislabeled as such by the right because it shirt circuits intelligent thought and evokes emotional response.
