Judicial Watch Warns California to Clean Voter Registration Lists or Face Federal Lawsuit

What don’t liberals understand, if you’re not a citizen of America you don’t get to vote, why is that so hard to comprehend?

Local governments don’t have citizens, they have residents. If they want to allow all resident green card holders in their jurisdiction to vote on local elections that is their prerogative.

Permanent resident green card holders aren’t just visitors. Why shouldn’t a permanent resident whose whole life is here and pays taxes get to vote on, say, who the superintendent of their kids’ school district is? Citizens who don’t even have kids get to vote on that. It isn’t the kind of thing I am going to exert energy lobbying for but I don’t have any ethical issues with it if local governments want to go that way.

I have a problem with it. Period.

Local governments have limits on what they can do too. I dont want non-citizens voting.

Well, if your city ever puts it on the ballot you will have your say, just as residents in other jurisdictions might have theirs. :)

Judicial Watch noted that public records obtained on the Election Assistance Commission’s 2016 Election Administration Voting Survey and through verbal accounts from various county agencies show 11 California counties have more registered voters than voting-age citizens: Imperial (102%), Lassen (102%), Los Angeles (112%), Monterey (104%), San Diego (138%), San Francisco (114%), San Mateo (111%), Santa Cruz (109%), Solano (111%), Stanislaus (102%), and Yolo (110%).
In the letter, Judicial Watch noted that Los Angeles County officials “informed us that the total number of registered voters now stands at a number that is a whopping 144% of the total number of resident citizens of voting age.”
Under Section 8 of the NVRA, states are required to make a reasonable effort to remove the names of ineligible voters from official lists due to “the death of the registrant” or “a change in the residence of the registrant,” and requires states to ensure noncitizens are not registered to vote.

This is how corrupt the Democratic Party in California (and other states) really is. No, Hilary Clinton did not win the popular vote by American citizens. No, elections in many Democrat controlled states are not legitimate.

None of which has to do with corruption.

Yes, all available objective data indicates Clinton won the popular vote and no, you cannot demonstrate anything illegitimate about any election in Dem states.

Why do bother posted drivel like this?

They have already, its why I am opposed to it. It dilutes my power and I dont like it.

I respect your honesty on the matter.

Other countries dont allow noncitizens to vote for exactly that reason. I dont care if they live here legally, I do care if they vote and are not citizens. Basically they can **** things up for me and move back to wherever they come from they have no real skin in the game. If they are a citizen they have skin in the game. Its not so easy to pick up and leave. I dont care HOW they became a citizen just that they are. I one of the reasons I absolutely oppose dual citizenship.

Ummmmmmmmmmmm. Illegals should have no voice in anything or get government benefits of any kind, including being able to go to hospitals free of charge. If they aren't supposed to be there in the first place then there is no reason to count them.
There are legal residents as well.
