This is not surprising. It was palpable from the start.

But, nice so others who might be skeptical can see.

She should add an “s” to her last name. Would be more appropriate.

Life is too short to hold that kind of hate in one’s heart. It isn’t a healthy way to go through life.

Supreme Court justices do not have ruined lives.

But for the rest of his life, the accusation of gang rape will be a footnote in biographies. Kavanaugh's reputation is besmirched.

That all depends upon who you are talking to.

Ariela Dumas expresses an opinion.
Sam_5thEstate proclaims "they" all were following that same opinion...without any evidence...or even sense.

Morons agree?

Oh I forget, it's a zimmer post, it wasn't mean to be taken seriously, just partisan, nonsensical ranting.

If there was any agenda by Ford and he Senate democrats beyond simply raising serious allegations of conduct during Brett's rushed hearing, it was to delay his appointment. The idea that it was to ruin a life...which clearly didn't occur anyway (he was appointed and in a few years no one cares except Ford), is just too stupid for this forum. Or rather, should be.

Maybve if we hold 8 such hearings, it will approach the Benghazi "get Hillary" circus. Until then, it sounds like stupid nonsense.

I bet he gets over it.

I do not agree. I believe the left has proven to America just how scummy they really are.

Like I say, leftists never know when to shut up. And the leftists on the Judicial Committee did their damnedest to prove just that.

Yes, but the distance of time will make those accusations seem more and more ludicrous.

Future generations won't have the animus or immediate partisan interest, and will be apt to look at the evidence critically.

I think future generations will become more enlightened and come to believe how abhorrent and disgusting their leftist ancestors truly were and condemn such despicable acts of viciousness and hatred.

We can only hope and pray. Unfortunately both parties have sunk pretty low from time to time. That is because the parties work for the rich and powerful not the people.

So true. I left the GOP a long time ago because of that. There are a lot of GOP'ers that need the heads examined.

Media justice ruined his life. Along with the people who support such nonsense.

not at all
one major function of the fourth estate is to examine and report about the operations of government
and that was done in this instance
my suspicion is your opposition is to what the media conveyed rather than that they dared convey it

Agreed. Not mentally healthy in the least. Rather concerning that so many from the left seem similarly afflicted.
Perhaps they are in need of some sort of intervention?

But for the rest of his life, the accusation of gang rape will be a footnote in biographies. Kavanaugh's reputation is besmirched.

Agreed. A shame, for by all accounts he is a good man.

Agreed. While the Dems and media trumpeted up their actions as being in the defense and interests of women, there are a great many women who saw through their Machiavellian political machinations, their use of Ford as a political tool and cast aside as her usefulness ended, as a threat to the men and sons in their lives, and have reiterated their support of the rule of law over mob rule, the rule of law over presumed guilt, and the rule of law over uncorroborated accusations.

To them I say 'Bravo!'

She is most likely a comedian and saying that as a joke. He is on the court and to the right wing, he is a victim and hero. So it is funny to say his life is ruined.

That's the fault of the FBI for not doing a real investigation. To his suoporters, he is still and victim and all the women were liars and villians. In reality, we don't know anything

I wish I could believe that. But my little sister, who doesn't keep up but does skim headlines at Salon and the New Yorker, texted me Friday that she believed that "white privilege" would rule the day. (As always, I refused to engage--what's the point?)

The entire thing was a disgrace to the country, left and right partisanship, and above all, it washed up on the Supreme Court, and Kavanaugh proved he is not above being a partisan hack himself

I hope you're correct. I also hope that all the tangled threads are already being untangled.

I have lost a lot of hope in this country. I think Trump will fire Rosenstein next, and his party and supporters will cheer him on. We are more than likely going to have a constitutional crisis, and that is very dangerous
