[W:51]Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warran

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

Moderator's Warning:
This thread is not about Kavanaugh or his accusers. This thread is about the FBI and the investigation into Trump. Stick to the topic folks.

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

I'm so tired of having to explain how the FISA warrants weren't based off of just the Dossier, to a point I'm not going to repeat myself any longer.
Have they provided any of the information that the fisa request was based on?

I don't see how either side can say for sure either way without seeing the documents that have not been released yet.

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

The entire world knows that polygraphs are inadmissible in courts. Yet, the authorities still consistently use them because they know that they contribute to a truth that helps to legitimize or de-legitimize a witness prior to court hearings. It also helps investigators narrow down some probable truths in order to guide investigations.

I'm still hung up on the fact that Kavanaugh will not take one, especially since he is sure that this didn't happen.

Yip, even if he does not remember and is clinging to that, he most likely still thinks that it is a possibility considering his life style it very well could have happened.

I'm sure his lawyers have told him that with that doubt in his mind he should never submit to one...

Tell us who edited that wikipedia entry that you quoted. You know, the reference numbers 3 and 4? The references you truncated in your quote.
By the way, you do know that anybody could edit anything in wikipedia with anything.
I guess you didn't.
It's really up to the reader to further verify it realizing it could itself very well be biased opinion.
You didn't do that, did you.

His pushing of the Plutonium One conspiracy theory backs the statement that he's a hack conspiracy theorist. And this "breaking news" thread based on an opinion piece belongs in the CT or the general politics forum.

And you posted the opinion of 2 anti-trumpers to counter what you called his opinion piece.
Did you bother to check who they were?
Solomon is an opinion contributor to The Hill but he's also a reporter.
The piece was not posted there as an opinion piece.

And yet it was still an opinion piece by a conspiracy theorist, validating the Wiki entry.

who said it was an opinion piece?

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

who said it was an opinion piece?

I did, because it is. And he's a conspiracy theorist.

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

who said it was an opinion piece?

I just noticed that this thread is in the general political discussion forum, so obviously the mods agreed.

Oh. Because you said so.

Look at the forum we're in now. The mods agreed that the Solomon article was an opinion piece.

I also notice you trying to pretend to ignore that Solomon is a conspiracy theorist.

I would also just like to add that The Hill is highly irresponsible for not labeling the article an opinion piece. A more respectable news outlet is careful to label opinion pieces as "opinion" or "analysis." They tried to muddy the waters by calling Solomon an "opinion contributor," adding an air of ambiguity, but it was a rather shoddy attempt.

It appears the answer is no, he didn't.

By what definition does that make it an opinion piece?
If it's CT why not move it to the CT forum?

I didn't ignore it I just figured you weren't very well informed about the subject so I let it go.

Yeah that nasty Hill is a rightwing front.

I don't know why the mods have been loathe to move so many deserving threads into the CT forum of late, but moving this opinion piece into general politics is next best.

I didn't ignore it I just figured you weren't very well informed about the subject so I let it go.

Oh, so you're a Uranium One conspiracy theorist too, eh? No wonder you're defending this guy.

Yeah that nasty Hill is a rightwing front.

Nonresponsive. Is it general protocol in respected news outlets to label articles so as to be clear whether it's news or opinion? The Hill does neither.

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

In the top credit Solomon is listed as a opinion contributor...

right ... nasty right wing mods.
You just can't help yourself, can you.

Oh, so you're a Uranium One conspiracy theorist too, eh? No wonder you're defending this guy.
Well, apparently I do know more about it than you. I realize you're not inclined to learn more about it because you're not inclined to want to know more. It's that whole comfort zone thing.

Nonresponsive. Is it general protocol in respected news outlets to label articles so as to be clear whether it's news or opinion? The Hill does neither.
The Hill has an opinion section and this wasn't in it.
Therefore ...

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

The one where a false student was being pushed forward to discredit, the one where FOX News tried to get the former FBI agent who administered the test to discredit, and the one who is a widely-published university professor who has everything to lose by "lying." But here we are adding to the nonsense by simply defaulting to discrediting the Polygraph all together on the grounds that her job is to teach people to lie and pass lie detectors.

If this was just a game, the DNC would have found a truck-stop waitress with nothing to lose. This is not about picking a side so that we can be "winners" of a game. Nor is this about injecting ourselves into Kavanaugh's position and pretending that we wouldn't want to be accused of such things.

OH yeah, its the same one where there isn't one single god damn corroborating witness, not even the ones she calls out by name, I know that one!

Then you simply don't know the level of depravity the DNC is capable of. You're right it's not about picking a side, it's about innocent until proven guilty. It's remarkable how you so fluidly accuse the the GOP and its supporters through implication that what the pathetic Unthinking Left have been doing from the outset.

Re: Collusion bombshell: DNC lawyers met with FBI on Russia allegations before surveillance warrant

Still clinging to that debunked bs are you???

Oh that's right, it's one of those "that's the way it is cuz I said so" moments...

Gotcha
