Kavanaugh Nailed -- Portland Press Herald editorial

And that is not how it's supposed to be.

We need to go back to a sixty vote so we have more qualified moderate judges. And we need to expand the court to say 21justices so they do not have as much individual power.

and whose fault is that?

schumer and reid

they were warned not to use the nuclear option as it would come back and bite them in the ass

well....are you mad at them?

What would you do if someone falsely accused you of something like rape, gang rape?

… AND up for a seat on the Supreme Court of The United States of America? What would I do?

IF "I" was educated in Law with years of experience practicing and on the bench, and had been groomed for a SC slot for the last two plus decades, AND THEN I was accused of something "I" knew "I" was innocent of? With his background training?

"I" sure as hell don't walk into a Senate hearing and have a blubbering break down.

"I" go in, turned out in my very best crisp suit, shoes spit shined, tie, hair and everything about me neat as a pin and perfect. And "I" would not let ANYTHING ruffle that appearance. "I" would use perfect posture walking in and when sitting at the table, like it's the Supreme Court Bench I hope to occupy. "I" am composed "I" read a very carefully crafted, non-emotional statement denying the accusations (not "charges" because this is not a court) like "I" know I'm innocent, because "I" am; right? Then in a calm straightforward way as candidly and non-argumentatively as can be conceived possible "I" answer every GD question put to me as succinctly as possible saying absolutely no more than is necessary, using as many yes's and no's as possible and leaving it at that. "I" would leave it to my Senator allies and Ms. Mitchell to cover may ass and "I'd" stfu every chance "I" got with out "appearing" to be evasive or argumentative.

That's what "I'd" do and if Kavanaugh would have done anything like it, there would be no doubt of his confirmation. Not that there much is.
