Problems i have with Kavanaugh, what do you think?

What was the decision in the seaworld case and whats your problem with it?

Kavanaugh sided with Seaworld. Seaworld knew the whale was dangerous long before the trainer got in the water with him.
People don't matter - corporations rule.

Couple things

Can't stand Trump. Think he is a POS

I am sure from your very biased opinion it looked that way. People who have been blinded by partisanship tend to see what they want to see.
I think there would be a large percentage of US makes that would get upset about being falsely accused of sexually assauling a woman. Maybe you would sit there and remain calm and apologetic while someone tries to ruin your life and your reputation. Many others wouldn't.

Poor poor white guys - they are so picked on and so maligned.:roll:

Can't defend your nonsense so play the race card. How pathetic but yet unsurprising.

The trainer probably knew, too.

When asked you have the opinion of a far left progressive group. So yeah it is what you said.

Far left my foot because I did not agree with Judge Kavanaugh on his dissent of the SeaWorld case ?
That is ridiculous.

One case makes me far left?

Because I worried that children could have killed by the orca?

We visited Seaworld many times in the late 1970s, and during 1980s, with our children.
I remember children from the audience sitting on Shamu or using a giant toothbrush prop and pretending to brush Shamu’s teeth with the toothbrush.

When the trainer was killed all I could think about was it could have been a child that was killed.

It could have been a child from audience who was killed.

I thought SeaWorld had safety procedures in place.

A child was going to be swimming in the tank?

I'm curious. How do you start a smear campaign?

Send a phony letter to a phony peoples representative. Make sure it's confidential before it's released, then back it with phony allegations.

The trainer was not in the water. She was on the slideout when the orca grabbed her hair or arm ( there were conflicting reports from eyewitness ) pulling her into tank.

The orca was on the slideout when the children sat on him or pretended to brush his teeth.

Did or did not the Democrats sit on the information?

I really don't know what the truth of the matter is and neither do you. Nor do I really give a crap. He talked back to senators - democrat women senators. That plus the over the top conspiracy bs was not that of someone who has the temperament to be on the Supreme Court. Full Stop. Nothing else matters.

Actually if you follow the time line you will understand.

And he talked back to Democratic Woman Senators? Wait. He is not allowed to talk to a Woman as he would a man?

What kind of sexist claptrap is that?

And wasn't one of those Democratic Woman Senators the one that sat on the information?

I was disappointed in Judge Kavenaugh and I thought it was rude of him to talk back to Senator Amy Klobuchar when she asked him about his drinking.

If someone in a courtroom talked back like did they would likely be held in comptempt.

Klobuchar said Kavanaugh wrote in testimony that he sometimes had too many drinks.
Klobuchar asked whether he ever drank so much that he couldn’t remember what happened or part of what happened the night before. Kavanaugh answered “no.”

In a back-and-forth, he added, “Have you?”
and followed up a second time.

Klobuchar said: “I have no drinking problem, Judge.” Kavanaugh responded: “Nor do I.”

As I keep hearing from DEMOCRATS it wasn't a trail, it was a "job interview".

So the contempt thing is BS.

I know it was not a Court trial. That is why I worded my post the way I did.

By the way it looks Judge Kavanaugh will become the next Justice of the Supreme Court.
I highly respect Senator Susan Collins and she feels he will be a fair Judge.
That’s good enough for me.

But I still feel he was rude to Senator Amy Klobuchar.

And the way he talked back to her did disappoint me.

Rude isn't a disqualifier...

I'll judge him on performance, not politeness.

He would only be a victim of a smear campaign if the allegations weren't true, and I would bet dollars to doughnuts you weren't at those parties.
That person and Kavanaugh would be 2 that weren't at that (imaginary) party.

I have several problems with the Kavanaugh hearings and his back ground.I will list them:
1. Is that he may be or have been a sexual predator. It is not just the one allegation, but three or more makes me wonder. I know, it is really too late to know, but it also makes me worry about his ability to look at cases involving women without bias after these allegations, although he did not seem to be exactly neutral before this..
2. Drinking and gambling. Both of these can be a form of disease and are sometimes connected. Maybe by ridding himself of the addiction to drinking, he replaced it with an addiction to gambling. Both could allow people to use his addictions to their own purposes.
3. Lying. This man has lied many times in his hearings. Lies about his drinking. Lies about his work getting other judges confirmed. Lies about seeing or not seeing stolen material from the Dems. I could go on, but to tell a white lie here and then I could understand, but his constant lying makes me wonder about whether he is lying about the sexual harassment?
4. Demeanor at the last hearing. He sounded like a person who was not only angry, but out of control. And he certainly cemented himself as a GOP operative and would be on the court. He also seemed to pledge himself to getting back at those who came out about his early life problems and the Dems.
We are going to put this man on the highest court in the land for life with all of this hanging over his head. I guess if the GOP can condone the sexual harassment that has been alleged against their man in the White House and his constant lies, why not the Supreme Court.

This is all true, but the biggest problem is his views on executive power.

I predicted he would get appointed, and I predict Trump will soon fire Rosenstein. Trump constantly argues that he has the right to pardon himself and that he is immune from subpoena.

That's why Trump picked Kavanaugh

Lastly, Gamble v US. Kavanaugh could be the deciding vote in extending the president's pardoning powers to state level.

So there you have a sitting president under state and federal investigations selecting Kavanaugh, and stating he wants to pardon himself and thinks he is above being subpoenaed. This is all about stopping state and federal investigations.
