Kavanaugh Was Questioned by Police After Bar Fight in 1985

There was a report but no charge mentioned.

I'm somewhat suspicious of SC nominees who get into bar fights.

I'm suspicious anyone who has never been in a bar fight. Have you ever been in a bar fight?

So if a childhood friend of mine gets nominated for a political appointment, i'll accuse him of throwing snowballs at me to derail his nomination.

Obviously, you can dream up any bull**** you want. Might as well go for the gusto and say he helped bury Jimmy Hoffa.

I like how people try to take this in isolation. I wish people were like that when I'm in trouble.

NEW HAVEN — As an undergraduate student at Yale, Brett M. Kavanaugh was involved in an altercation at a local bar during which he was accused of throwing ice on another patron, according to a police report.

The incident, which occurred in September 1985 during Mr. Kavanaugh’s junior year, resulted in Mr. Kavanaugh and four other men being questioned by the New Haven Police Department. Mr. Kavanaugh was not arrested, but the police report stated that a 21-year-old man accused Mr. Kavanaugh of throwing ice on him “for some unknown reason.”
==============================================
A companion of Kavananaugh then hit the third man in the ear with a glass, which then required medical attention.

Boys will be boys. Bar fights don't look good on rersumes, though.

He wasn't in the fight, and no one was arrested or charged.

The desperate left gets more frothy-mouthed RIDICULOUS by the minute.

I heard he once ordered a Big Mac WITH NO PICKLES !!!!!

Lots of people get questioned by the police. Did he ever lie about it? Because if he didn't lie about it under oath, a thirty-year-old misdemeanor charge doesn't mean anything about anything.

That's not true.

Which part?

a thirty-year-old misdemeanor charge doesn't mean anything about anything.
'

That part. It AbsaByGodLutely does mean something. This is a lifetime appointment to one of the most prestigious positions in our government. His break down, anger and partisan comments definitely matter.

Good ****ing grief Democrats are so pathetically desperate.

I hear there's a report circulating that Kavanaugh once relieved himself in public behind a store after a night of drinking.

Not sure if there's a statue of limitations on indecent exposure but we need to find out.

I heard Kavanaugh exposed his naked body to a nurse 1 minute after he was born.

What a perv!

There's also an accusation by his third grade friend that he chews with his mouth open and he laughs when little Timmy passes gas.

He lied repeatedly under oath last week. This whole story being some evidence of that. Meanwhile, the obnoxious frat boy persona is being well documented. This, of course, always provides some collaboration to Dr. Ford's characterization of Kavanaugh. Let's see what the FBI comes up with...

You mean, in addition to being a self-indulgent, entitled, belligerent drunk that has been accused of sexual assault. I think we can drop the charges on the open mouth and laughter.

The nurse probably laughed at him. Kavanaugh has been working off the shame ever since. Come to think of it, I wonder if that explains Trump - the nurse laughed?

That is committing a felony, on live television, last week.

I said that a misdemeanor that Kavanaugh might have committed thirty years ago didn't matter.

I'm going to hope this is the last time I have to explain there's a difference between the two, but optimism has always been a very disappointing lifestyle for me.

You know, for all I'm defending the practice here... I never have. By the time I was allowed to drink in bars, I was the world's worst professional fighter and I'd stopped believing in getting my ass kicked for free.

I've never gotten in a fight at bar I was drinking at. Have had a few close calls when I was playing gigs at bar. Something about holding a bass or a Les Paul like a bat tends to make people think twice about taking a few steps forward.

the choir boy strikes again

Obviously his throwing of a drink on another person was a religious rite to baptize them against sin and evil.

I'm gonna say this: I don't really care. The only way I'd give a **** about this, is if there was a repeated behavior of such things occurring. And so far I haven't seen that.

Is there something you want to show us all with posting this thread?

Kavanaugh was accused of throwing ice. What does that show?

OH NO!!!! NOT ICE!!!!

:rofl:rofl

In the immortal words of Senator Blutarsky "Foooood Fight!"

I just watched that last night.

My thoughts exactly.

he was never arrested or charged. this is another nothing burger.

Really? Guy got into a single bar fight thirty years ago, and that makes you nervous about his qualifications as a Supreme Court Justice?

There's a fine line between political ideology and a medical condition.

that doesn't exist anymore. liberal double standard is well key.
