Even after all 3 people she named as witnesses had all refuted her claim that they were at that party, Ford was still adamant. She said she's "100% sure," that it was Kavanaugh who assaulted her.

I say.....BULL to that! You can't even say you're 50% sure about that! :lol:


3 people - discounting the accused. How can all these 3 people be lying? Why would her own friend lie?


What's 100% sure, was the way she botched identifying alleged attendees to that party!

Not one of them has any recollection going to that party! Even her own friend REFUTED her claim that she (Keyser) was at that party!

Not only did Keyser refute that claim, she also corroborated Kavanaugh's claim! How? here's from her lawyer.


On Saturday night, her lawyer, Howard Walsh, released a statement to CNN and the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"Simply put," Walsh said, "Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford."

She's 100% sure something happened sometime, somewhere, by someone, but "I was off my ass drunk. I was 15 and come to think about it, I don't remember how I got there or how I got home either."

... we can't rule out that she was not using drugs that may or may not have made her hallucinate. She says she had one beer. If she had one 12 oz beer and passed out, other chemicals were likely at play. I don't recall that being asked. Maybe that's why she had no witnesses. They were all in her head as one big acid trip.

That is why an official investigation was called for. What people say...is not the same as what they swear to under oath and to a FBI investigator.

President Trump has 3 or 4 versions of the same incident floating around out there. The only version that will matter is the one he tells under oath and to Special Prosecutor Mueller.

Maybe the people involved said what they said not believing the matter was going to go any further than a statement drafted by a lawyer.

Maybe Mr. Judge's memory may become.... clearer' while speaking directly to an FBI investigator.

No one's saying she wasn't assaulted. But, she was refuted, nevertheless!

She claims that her life-long friend Leland was present at that party.

Leland REFUTED THAT CLAIM!
Leland said she doesn't recollect EVER BEING in a party that was also attended by Kavanaugh -

I'm few years older than she is. I remember parties I went to in my own neighborhood that I do not know what street it was on or who owned the home.

Going to house parties on the weekend was almost a weekend deal.

As a teen, you piled into a car and went. Sometimes it was more than one house. Sometimes it wasn't.

I could talk to people I went to HS with and still bring up parties where major events happened. They would know which party it was that J.D. drank a full glass of Tequila... or where Manny and Bill F. had their epic fight.

A fifteen year old girl would know who the senior guys were for sure. She did not run in his click. She was not one of his girl-friends.

He could have been there with Jesus himself and it wouldn't matter. They democrats already announce prior to his nomination that they will fight all of Trumps appointment "by any means necessary". You could have put anyone in that chair and the result would be the same.

I suspect that the way Flake had come up with this conditional FBI investigation, could be a strategic plan by the Republicans. It gave them a way to gracefully concede to an FBI investigation (after digging in, the day before, against it).


Looking at Senator Graham as he was asked by reporters afterwards on his way to inform House Leader Mitchell, his face looked relieved - and he was so upbeat about it.

I think it is best that they did the FBI investigation, since it wouldn't be good for them going to the midterms. It's also not good for Kavanaugh to be sworn in as Judge for SC with that cloud hanging over his head.


Though they've sat on that allegation for two months (and everything would've been resolved by now had they brought that out ).....now the Dems can't say they didn't get what they asked for.

Ford need to be investigated for perjury. She conveniently doesnt remember who drove her to the party because that person will refute her as well. Same as everyone else. She needs to drop her "Im still 15 years old" act as well.

None of her multiple witnesses confirms or corroborates what she said. If she'd been raped in front of these witnesses, they'd pretty obviously know and be in a position to affirm what she said. The fact that they didn't says their recollection is sharply different from hers.

I agree. I went to many such parties in my youth where some things are quite clear and others are not. But Tosca1 brings up a good point. THere are several things that Ford is quite certain about: who attacked her, how many beers she had, and who was at the party. The problem is, she is clearly mistaken as to who was at the party as her own friend points out. If her memory as to who was there is that faulty, it is hard to see how she can be so certain of who attacked her. She remembers Kavanaugh, Judge, PJ and her friend all being there. None of those three recall any such gathering. Add that to her inability to remember where or when the party was or how she got there or got home, and her 'certainty' of facts is clearly drawn into question.

As I watched her testify, it seemed like she was remembering a dream.

No context. Just the particular event with a cast of characters that just seemed to poof into existence and then disappear. Same is true of the venue and the proposed time and wardrobe.

To me, nothing in her story makes logical sense.

Dr. Ford named them as witnesses.

They said they did not witness this thing.

They refuted that they witnessed what she said they had witnessed.

If she had named me, I would refute the same assertion and do so in the strongest possible terms.

She asserted that they would support her her story and they refuted that assertion.

They did not just say what they said.

They testified under oath with penalty of felony and jail time.

Someone here had mused that she could've been high on some drugs at the time. That's highly possible.

If she got it all wrong saying those people were there - Kavanaugh says he wasn't at that party - obviously, she must've got it wrong too about Kavanaugh!

At the very least.....you could say there is enough reasons to doubt her recollection!

Kavanaugh's behavior sure made it easy didn't it. But instead of accepting responsibility for his actions, he, like so many conservatives these days, blames everyone else. No wonder the USA is in so much trouble, 1/3 of the country refuses to take responsibility for their actions.

Actually many are like me, people who were impressed with her very credible testimony, and believe further investigation is warranted. We don't understand those who want to push this nomination through no matter what crimes Kavanaugh may or may not have committed because he's "on my side". That is "idiotic."
