President Trump is taking a stand about over globalism and he's doing the right thing since we as the USA need to remain independent. This nation was founded on independence and it should stay that way.

The time for that was during WWI.

Instead, we followed our Capitalist instincts into selling arms to both sides, enriching ourselves while Europe massacred themselves, thereby becoming the preeminent world power for the first time.

I doubt Trump could give us a brief description of his understanding of globalism. I'm pretty certain most Americans don't know what Trump means when he mentions globalism. Americans may think they know what he means. If, however, Trump has no idea what he is talking about - as is often the case - then it is all left up to interpretation. Then again, Trump's concept of globalism could be be radically different 3 days from now. Nations of the world know this.
