Another supporter at the Values Voter Summit said God works through Trump even if the Almighty doesn’t “approve” of him.

“We are in the golden time,” proclaimed former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) in an interview at the Values Voter Summit over the weekend in Washington. “We don’t want to blow this. We don’t want to blow this!”

A member of President Donald Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board, Bachmann said she believes that due to him, “on every metric” America has experienced “blessings” that are “without parallel.” In an interview at the annual conference of evangelicals organized by the anti-LGBTQ Family Research Council, she elaborated on her assertion.

This lady has been delusional for years. From RationalWiki:

We have checked [Michele Bachmann] 13 times, and seven of her claims [have been found] to be false and six have been found to be ridiculously false ... She is unusual in that regard that she has never gotten a rating higher than false.

“”[Michele] Bachmann is a religious zealot whose brain is a raging electrical storm of divine visions and paranoid delusions... Bachmann is exactly the right kind of completely bat**** crazy... crazy in the sense that she's living completely inside her own mind, frenetically pacing the hallways of a vast sand castle she's built in there, unable to meaningfully communicate with the human beings on the other side of the moat, who are all presumed to be enemies. -Mat Taibbi

Oh, good. A completely apolitical, non-partisan, objective, and above-all "rational" site like rationalwiki.org. It's up there with Conservapedia and Encyclopedia Dramatica for sites that I can go to for reasoned commentary and careful considered discussion of the facts and that never lets its authors' personal political or ideological biases color the articles they write.

Must. Not. Godwin.

Too late. That's some scary stuff.

Oh, do please tell us all the wonderful things about Michele Bachmann that those meaniefaces at RW left out.

When you can't defend the subject, cry about the source!

Too late. That's some scary stuff.

What amazes me is these religious nut jobs seem to have skipped the part in the Bible where the devil tries to make a pact with Jesus and Jesus refuses. Thinking you will get what you want out of an evil man, reeks of deception by Satan if you believe in that kind of thing

The end goal was simple, doesn't matter what he's done, as long as they get their wish of finally being able to completely stamp out a womans right to bodily sovereignty, they can sleep just that bit better at night knowing rape victims have to keep their babies because "God works in mysterious ways".

I'm not crying about it. But if I decried some inane statement by, say, Maxine Waters, and then posted an article detailing her background from Conservapedia, how exactly am I furthering discussion with anyone except people who already agree with me? Michele Bachman's statements stand on their own for their cogency or inanity, whatever a politically-left wing partisan editorial board passing for some kind of secular objective information source has to say on the matter.

Some of them say he is now a godly man.

They say that he has asked God for forgiveness so who are they to judge -- despite the fact that Trump said he didn't think he ever had asked God for forgiveness.

"I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don't think so," he said. "I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don't bring God into that picture. I don't."

And despite Trump's interpretation of trying to make something right apparently being paying someone hush money so that they don't interfere with his continued pursuit of his own hedonistic desires.

That seems to be it.

How can someone who is their best hope of ever reversing Roe v. Wade be evil?

Adultery? Fine. Sexual assault? Fine. BRAGGING about sexual assault. Fine. Slobbering over murderous dictators? Fine. Having absolutely no regard for truth? Fine. He's helping us bring back back-alley abortions. He is a man of God.

Is she?
This is the first time I've read that Michelle Bachmann's husband is "gayer than a pair of Richard Simmons sequinned shorts and that she denies she is married to a Gay man." Stereotype Gay men much, btw?

*LOL* Donald Trump's Evangelical Advisory Board?? Is that a real thing?? Sounds like a Saturday Night Live skit waiting to happen.

Then he must be part of God's design, if you believe in that sort of thing.

I don't know if he still does but he used to run their pray the gay away family business...

She needs to pray harder.

I don’t know of any point RW has claimed to be an “objective information source.” It’s not a news outlet.

That said, what’s wrong with its assessment of Bachmann? Sounds pretty spot-on to me.

Dude, that rumor has been around for YEARS.
