Ramirez's Named Witnesses Deny Her Claims...sound familiar?

All throughout last week I was warning the people on this forum that there were more out there. That if it happens once, it will happen again. There is NEVER just one and unfortunately this type of stuff doesn't just STOP after college. Partying and drinking might, but not unchecked predatory behavior in hookup culture. Last week there was only one. Today there is three. By Thursday there could be dozens. There must be something in here that requires an FBI investigation for each woman to be requesting it. That alone disqualifies him not only from SCOTUS but from any government job he might have. Until such things are settled.

It was setup that way from the beginning to get her off. Comey's initial letter says all that we need to know.

the rest was political hackery to get her off. her case should have gone to a grand jury and then they could have decided
what happened next. instead she was let off the hook by her supporters. that right there is about as big of an obstruction of justice

All that and she still wasn't found guilty in a court of law, but you don't have anything negative to say about those chants of lock her up. Shows that your comments are full of **** and you don't really believe in innocent until proven guilty. Spare us your faux outrage con.

And Ford deserves to have that evidence looked at by the FBI due to background investigation. Thank you for proving your comments are full of **** con.

I was editing this so you might have missed it but: There must be something in here that requires an FBI investigation for each woman to be requesting it. That alone in my opinion disqualifies him not only from SCOTUS but also from any government job he might hold. Until such things are settled.
 
Seems to me that if you're going to accept stories like this as factual you should have more than unproven accusations.

Recall the concern about what naturally will result when political differences become portrayed as evil.
When you can convince yourself or others that your political opponent is evil, any response would be justified.
The legitimate worry is that it would encourage violence.
So why would character assassination to prevent a SCOTUS confirmation surprise anyone?

The accuser did give the New Yorker six names to support her claim. Six witnesses Deborah Ramirez stated could substantiate her accusation. And when the New Yorker interviewed them, ALL SIX said it never happened.

praxas you simply have no idea what you are talking about.
she never went to a court or had her case even put on trial.

she was protected from a trial by the political machine that for some reason has to protect clinton.

there was enough evidence gathered by the FBI on her to send her case to trial. that much is obvious.
if it wasn't her for lacky's and one of the most corrupt DOJ's in our history that is exactly what would have happened.

The FBI already looked at kavanaugh they have nothing. in fact they checked him 6 times.

Ford's story is done. none of the witnesses she claims were there have stated they have no idea what she is talking about
and all of the deny the party even happened.

if your classmate in college won't even support your story you don't have much.
if she is so sure about the assault why does she not file charges with the local police?

why is it that she only continues to delay delay delay instead of presenting her evidence?

Again, "IF". What we know with CERTAINTY, is that Kavanaugh has had about 100 people vouch for his good character and support of women throughout his career, and his life. That should not get wiped out because of a smear campaign, decades-old drunken accounts and guilt by association.

This is the Democrats and the "resistance" doing whatever it takes to stop his nomination, because they assume he will be the end of Roe. v Wade. Full on stop.

Believe me, this charade of a witch hunt to destroy Kavanaugh is as transparent as Saran Wrap.

Claiming you can't remember a particular party from 30 years ago, when you can see the tideal wave of despicable hate awaiting you if you do, can seem the easier option, even if you do remember. Then the deplorables "win".

I'm sorry, but if the story is accurate then it was the accuser, Ms. Ramirez, who supplied the names of those six "so-called witnesses" and apparently NONE corroborate her allegation.

How does this fact NOT undermine her "drunken memory" which required "six days with her attorney" to refresh her recollection enough to testify?

The real question is what kind of effect these crap allegations have on America!

This is absolute bull**** that such nasty, salacious accusations can be made in, and promoted by, the mainstream media just to stall a SCOTUS nomination. It's the most disturbing political act I've ever seen and suggests that the entire institution of our government has gone off the deep end. This isn't about the people of America any more. It's about party power and it's about the potential for one party or the other to co-opt the judiciary.

It's about Democrats being willing to destroy a man and his family by flinging baseless allegations and promoting a culture that is entirely anti-male. It's about Democrats trying to scare women into voting for their side because, presumably, all men are rapists. It's about Democrats using extrajudicial means to promote a political agenda. The Democrats have now shown utter disdain for the rule of law, for the principles of Constitutional Republicanism and for common decency.

It is a clever (backdoor?) means of having the filibuster power being restored for SCOTUS appointees. Senate debate cannot end and a vote be taken unless the last person (no longer only the last Senator) in the US with an objection, issue or axe to grind has been heard. These 'allegations' are simply criminal charges being leveled with no need for that pesky due process to precede their being considered as matters of 'fact'.

You have 2 women with 30+ year old allegations:

a) Both of whom display major memory lapses and/or lack of details.
b) Have absolutely no evidence to support their claims
c) Both of whom named people they claimed would corroborate their stories.
d) Every person claimed by both to be witnesses, have no idea what the women are talking about.

Could you please tell me what's the "more and more evidence" that is continuing to mount?

I didn't realize that this is not new territory for Democrats until I caught a bit of Mark Levin's program yesterday. Just watch Ted Kennedy assassinate Bork's character and shred any semblance of dignity the nominee had. It was jaw dropping.
Of course, Kavanaugh's smear campaign takes their 'bamn' tactics to new lows.


When Democrats his the bottom of the barrel, they start scraping.

One woman who remembers only a tiny fraction of what happened, with holes in her story big enough to drive a caravan of trucks through. The other has admitted that it took working with "the resistance" 6 whole days to be sure that what she remembered that drunken night (when she was in a haze on the floor) was that "Brett Kavanaugh" put his "penis" in her face.

EVERY American should be afraid for our country, our Constitution and our entire justice system if all it takes to label someone a "sexual deviant" is a couple of 30+ year old, hazy, foggy, hole-ridden and uncorroborated allegations.

Mammas, be afraid for your sons.
Daughters, be afraid for your fathers.
Wives, be afraid for your husbands.
Sisters, be afraid for your brothers.

This dangerous game the Dems are playing will have ramifications for every innocent man accused, tried and convicted in the court of public opinion.

If all I cared about was the political implications from an action - I would agree with you 100% as that sort of rash move by Grassley would help destroy the GOP in November with women voters. But since I care about the Court and justice, I would not advise such behavior just so Grassley and the far right can wave their middle finger in the air and brag that they did it.
