And, as far as the Democrats go, they had this information since July and never said or did one damn thing about it, no demands for an FBI investigation, no anything and then at the very last minute just before the vote all of a sudden it's, "Oh, by the way, we have this letter and even though we didn't ask for an investigation over it for two months, all of a sudden we want one now". Senator Feinstein was hand delivered the cofidential letter from California Congresswoman’s Eshoo stag on July 30th.

Feinstein sent to the FBI six weeks latter.

Eshoo’s involvement began when Blasey Ford, a constituent in her Peninsula district and a professor of psychology at Palo Alto University, called her congresswoman’s office requesting a meeting. A staffer talked to her in advance, but Eshoo said she didn’t realize the magnitude or significance of Blasey Ford’s allegations until the two met in person for more than an hour and half on July 20.

On Eshoo’s suggestion, Blasey Ford decided to write a letter detailing her claims to Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the lead Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Eshoo’s staff hand-delivered it to Feinstein’s Washington, D.C., office on July 30, and Feinstein delivered it to the FBI six weeks later.

Exactly my point! Why did Feinstein wait six weeks to send this to the FBI and why hasn't the FBI already been investigating this since that time? Why wait until just days before the Kavanaugh vote and bring all this up and demand an FBI investigation now? The left claim this so called urgency now, days before the vote was supposed to happen but had no urgency months ago. This was all purposely delayed until the last minute for political purposes. I remember you being a big defender of abortion and women's right to choose so I wonder what the motivation for all of this is, particularly when Ford erased all of her social media postings (probably during the missing six weeks) and had taken part in the pro-abortion million women march on DC a year and a half ago. And, every single one of the so called witnesses Ford has listed, have totally denied they remember anything about this so called party. Hell, Ford herself can't even remember the details of the party. Apparently she had one drink too many at the time.

Apparently Ms Ford was tiring to forget about the assault. She said she the assault clearly but forgot some of the details like the address etc.

She told friends this past summer

Ford apparently told three of her closest friends — Jim Gensheimer, Rebecca White, and Kirsten Leimroth — about her encounter with Kavanaugh last summer, when the four friends were at a restaurant by the beach. Ford’s kids were taking part in the junior lifeguards program. Rebecca White was one of Ford’s neighbors; Kirsten Leimroth had children in the same lifeguard program that Ford’s children were in. It is not clear how, exactly, Gensheimer and Ford knew each other. But multiple news reports confirm his account that they were old friends.

Gensheimer said Ford expressed concern over her memory of the encounter — not that she wasn’t sure whether the enounter itself happened, but because she wasn’t sure she’d be able to remember every little detail of the encounter.

“I’ve been trying to forget this all my life, and now I’m supposed to remember every little detail,” Gensheimer said Ford told him.“They’re going to be all over me,” she added.

The fact is we're talking about a drunk 15 year old and this is 35 years later. And, all of the people who she claims were witnesses to the event have no knowledge of it. She deserves to have people all over her. We're also talking about an anti-Trump political activist who attended the million women pro abortion march in DC last year. And, we're also talking about Democrats playing partisan politics with this, doing absolutely nothing about any of this until the last minute then all of a sudden we need an FBI investigation when they could have done this weeks and months earlier. It is all an obvious ploy to stop Republicans from getting any nominee approved before the midterms are over and we have new people in the Senate. What on Earth would an FBI investigation do anyway? Ford herself says that the only witnesses were her, Kavanaugh, and two others, all of which have no knowledge of what she is talking about. The FBI does not possess a time machine that I know of. Kavanaugh has had an impeccable record for 35 years.

Of all the people she knew at that age she invents a sexual assault story, to “get a reaction from her husband,” about the one guy who would be a Supreme Court nominee six years later? Jesus Christ the things these right wingers will ****in convince themselves sof.
