So apparently Republicans want to claim that if this Ford woman refuses to testify under oath before Congress she's a liar who's making all this crap up in order to trash a good man.

Donald Trump's legal team is refusing to let him testify under oath with Robert Mueller... What does that tell us about Trump?

But Republicans won't force Trump to testify, that's not part of the hyperpartisan kabuki theater of our politics.

Republicans know full well that Trump has progressive mental health issues, probably malignant narcissism, and has reached the point where he is now a pathological liar among other this. Sadly Republicans have decided to take advantage of Trump’s incapacitation to get what the Trump/evangelical Party wants.

Trump couldn’t make it under oath with any legal team. He would quickly commit perjury. They know that. They know Trump is seriously ill.

His lawyers dont want their client under oath as he lies vorousiasly. Its a perjury trap when you cannot distinguish the truth and delusions.

Well, among other things, Ford is the accuser in her case while Trump is the accused in his. If you really want to draw the comparison then it should be Mueller who testifies against Trump and Ford who testifies against Kavanaugh. After those testimonies the accused should then have an opportunity to defend themselves with respect to the charges. To handle things your way would be to presume guilt of the accused rather than to presume their innocence.

Umm...no that's called a psychosis when you can't distinguish the truth and delusions. That would make him unfit for office and mean he should be removed from office immediately.

Mueller is the investigator. Cohen and apparently Manafort have already agreed to testify.

I see, so when Mueller inevitably does recommend charges against Trump and lays out the evidence I can only assume that at that time you will require Trump to testify under Oath.

Also, remind us all again why Hillary Clinton had to testify for 11 hours straight on the subject of Benghazi.

President Trump isn't accusing anyone of sexually assault him, so I'm not sure where your whataboutism is headed.
 
I have not heard anyone claim if she refuses to testify she is lying. Rather, if she refuses to testify then there is no accusation again Kavanaugh to even consider. To this date, she has never given a sworn statement in writing or verbally. Therefore, there is no accusation for any official proceeding that exists.

While that's true we really aren't dealing with a legal matter here. What we are dealing with is a political matter and the only thing that really matters is the perception voters have of the proceedings. If voters end up believing Ford more then Democrats win. If they believe Kavanaugh more then Democrats lose. That's pretty much the ONLY thing this is about.

Myself, the man is an idiot, and should be put out to pasture on one of his golf courses.

At the end of the day, Kavanaugh will be confirmed and once again leftists will be dealt another defeat. Which is a victory for our great nation.
