There is NO accusation of attempted rape against Kavanaugh. Falsely claiming there is 1 million times just means the same lie was told 1 million times, which means never believe anything the Democratic Party and their politicians say.

Wrong....read the code, not some Washington Examiner BS. If the assailant did cover the victims's mouth with his hand and she felt "suffocated" its not a misdemeanor. Its a third degree aggravated assault and not a fourth degree and fourth degree aggravated assault is the only sexual assault offense that qualifies as a misdemeanor.

I'm saying she has provided no proof, she doesn't appear to be willing to tell her story when the opportunity has been given,and she has not filed any formal complaint. All she has done is spread a rumor at this point. I'm giving that rumor the appropriate amount of attention

There is no allegation in her letter - unsworn letter - that alleges ANY "sexual contact." NONE. Try actually reading her letter. NO allegation of ANY sexual contact. At best, it is a misdemeanor simple assault - a juvenile case at that.

From across the room a very drunken REDACTED said mixed words to Kavanaugh ranging from "go for it" to "stop."

Grinding against someone's body.

Attempting to remove their clothes forcibly.

And groping them, which can mean to fondle someone for sexual pleasure against their will

Are all things she stated in her public accusation that would absolutely qualify for "sexual contact" as a Sexual Offense of the Third Degree under Maryland Law.

In terms of the letter itself, she flat out accuses him of engaging in "sexual assault" against her, describes him being forcibly on top of her which could potentially qualify given the context (which was provided earlier in the letter by declaring he sexually assaulted her), and that he forcibly tried to disrobe her (again, that would qualify as sexual contact).

Can't tell a jury when this happened, where it happened, why they were they, how the victim got there or got home and there is no physical evidence. No witnesses for the victim and no details shared for 30 years.

I don't know Dr Ford so I can not comment on her character to say If she is confused, truthful, or outright lying.

I do know Ford has had 30+ years to make a formal complaint of this incident did happen. Ford has been given an opportunity to tell her story and is finding excuses not to. I know Ford hasn't provided any evidence it happened and the other person she said was there claimed it never happened.

Until she does those things it's just a tragic story or rumor that may or may not of happened.

If Ford chooses to silence herself and not tell her story on Monday well that's on her. No one is stopping her story from being heard except herself

There is no statute of limitations on most sex crimes in Maryland, including attempted rape. Even if his nomination goes through, Ford could file a criminal complaint in Montgomery County, MD, where the crime allegedly took place, that would start a civil criminal investigation into the alleged assault. If convicted, Kavanaugh could be impeached & removed from SCOTUS.

In fact, considering the fact that Ford was only 15 at the time, additional charges could pertain: when the victim is under the age of 16, these include gross sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact, and sexual abuse of minors.

That state might require evidence, that dang innocent till proven guilty just gets in the way for y’all liberals,
