False accusations started at the time man learned to communicate. I don't think false accusations have become blown out of control. I think the media is out of control. These problems need to be solved in a court of law not some vigilante media justice. The solution to false accusations has always been to err on the side of innocence. Proof of guilt needs to easily out way any doubt. If these cases were brought to court when they happened evidence most likely would be available to determine guilt or false accusations. The person who did not press charges when it happened and could have been resolved easily is the other problem. I think the reason a lot of these cases never were reported and investigated when they happened is because the story has escalated over time.

I think these cases need to be looked into but the media circus act needs to be curtailed. The problem is the only one that can hold the media responsible for their handling of these cases is We the People. It is quite clear we have no problem destroying anybody for the sake of our bias hate or agenda. The truth and the facts be damned.

If the allegations were true and serious the democrats would have brought them up 5 or 6 years ago when they first surfaced. If the democrats do not want the allegations to be examined their best gamble is to cast them out there at the last second for the purpose of derailing the approval process the way they have repeatedly said they intend to do. The woman has about 5 days to make her case and then the Senate should proceed. That is more than fair at this late stage of the process.

There is plenty of time for both sides to prepare for Monday's hearing before the Senate moves on.

I agree. I am tired of this media justice game the left is playing. They are not the party I used to vote for. They have sunk to new depths lately. I thought slick Willie would be my last vote for a democrat after the way he screwed over the unions. Then I voted for Obama. I never liked McCain and Obama talked a real good game of change. But failed the minorities of this country every bit as bad as Clinton did the unions. I voted Trump as the lesser of 2 evils but I think I might vote for him again depending on who runs for the democrats. I actually like Trump more now than when I first voted for him. I am not happy with anything the democrats are doing locally for me. I wish we had more independents running locally. I would love to see them take over the house or the senate. This divide and rule us by the 2 parties is destroying this country.

Want to bet it comes down to her word against his word. Then media justice without evidence destroys another person by guilty until proven innocent in a country that once protected peoples rights with a judicial system.

This is not about Ms. Ford, sexual assault, or anything else. It's about delaying the hearing so as the get past the election so vulnerable democrats don't have to take raise their hand on in a vote.

It's about the cowardliness of our elected officials.

Reasonable Americans would never destroy a boy's whole life and future over one mistake that would not have even been harshly condemned at the time even if it had happened and had been reported. Democrats want to destroy Kavanaugh and his family over one rumor of a single misstep he is accused by a single accuser of taking 36 years ago, while ignoring the ongoing serious prosecutable sex crimes being committed right now by current leading democrats in positions of responsibility.

That is not only silly, but hypocritical.

I have to agree. waiting 36 years right before he is elected to the SCOTUS is more likely vengeance than justice.

So essentially what we have is a group of sanctimonious leftists ready to destroy a man and his family over an alleged incident 36 years ago when he was a teenage kid. An alleged incident that was not worthy of reporting to the police at the time it supposedly occurred. An alleged incident that came to the attention of Sen. DiFi in July and it was so important, she sat on it for a few days. Hmmmm.

Any reasonable person would conclude, there is something not right about the accusation, the accuser, and the sanctimonious a-holes that are backing her up.
