Kavanaugh/Ford?

I just heard two different angles that don’t mesh. Dr. Ford doesn’t remember the location of the “party.” Judge Kavanaugh has denied being at that “party.” Color me confused; granted this came from Sean Spicer in a segment from Cavuto’s show on FOX..........
 
I don't see how a 40 year old incident going back to when Kavanaugh was a drunk teenager has any bearing on the character he is today. Since that's the only sexual allegation against him, and it goes back 40 years, I really question the significance of this ordeal. You're not you when you're drunk. You're not the same person at the age of 53 that you were in high school. No further allegations.... Connect the dots from an unbiased stance and put yourself in his place.

If he’s lied about it, then it most certainly is a negative reflection of his character.

Maybe he just means he wasn’t at any party where he had any interactions with Ford?
 
Agreed that if he lied it tells a good bit. I just disagree with people judging him wrongfully based on this one incident.
 
The lie is the important part here. I could also understand why he would lie if he felt he would be judged wrongfully based on what happened when he was a teenager. It'd be a logical reaction "Some people will judge me as a bad person based on what I did as a drunken teen, and this could hinder my reputation." Of course, people should know the full story, but some people fail to understand the importance of the incident. As I mentioned before, given all that we know, even if he did commit a wrong act as a drunk teen, it shouldn't bear any significance on his present day character. This is strengthened by the fact that he has had no further sexual allegations filed against him in his entire career/life.

He NEVER DID IT; not exactly a "great reach" to say he was NOT AT THE PARTY where SHE SAYS IT HAPPENED, then, is it?

He's the one willing to TESTIFY...she's the one TRYING TO DANCE AROUND IT.


As of TODAY, 3 of the 4 people Ford has cited as present when her "assault" took place, have said IT NEVER HAPPENED.

Your personal assessment ("He never did it") is utterly meaningless.

Kavanaugh only wants to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee, run by his gop buddies who have already allowed him to get away with LYING to them UNDER OATH, in the past. Ford wants to talk to the FBI. Huge difference.

First Kavanaugh said he was never at the house party in question....now it's being reported that he was and that he has witnesses to support claim that he did not assault her. Those two scenarios are not compatible. And we already know that Kavanaugh has a history of lying.

The longer this goes on, the worst it will get for Kavanaugh.

Please provide links for these claims--that Kavanaugh has said that he wants to talk only to the Judiciary Committee and that he has now acknowledged that he was at the gathering after all and that he has witnesses who will support his claim that he did not assault Ford.

If a conservative did something wrong as a kid the democrats think the conservative should be ruined for life, but they only say that years later after the kid has grown up to be a conservative. No democrat would condemn any 16 year old kid for life for a mistake the kid made while still a kid, and no democrat would condemn a democrat for anything the democrat did as a kid. That is how democrat foolishness and hypocrisy works.
 
If you were going to tell a high-stakes lie because you wanted to take somebody out, for whatever reason, would you beg the FBI to look into it?

See his is where your comments are completely dishonest as you are known for. What he did as a kid isn’t the issue, him being unapologetic for it and lying about it as adult is. Much like your boy trump has lied about cheating on his third wife, as he did the two others, is a negative reflection of character on him.

Kavanaugh is like Trump. If he denies his guilt then democrats assume that is proof of his guilt. Democrats do not make good lawyers and judges. Their judgment is impaired and their reasoning is sometime off-the-wall ridiculous.

If Kavanaugh is like Trump than he really is guilty since trump lied about his cheating on his third wife with a porn star. Republicans make lousy character witnesses since they hitched their wagons to liars. I don’t know if kavanaugh is guilty of lying, what I do know is republicans are doing everything they can (including not provide security support to ford after the death threats her and her family have received) to let the truth come out. You trump supporters hate the truth which is why you are unworthy to be in charge.

You should criticize Feinstein for sitting on this accusation for months until there was next to no time to hold hearings before the process is scheduled to wrap up.

Last minute unsubstantiated allegations may have worked well for democrats dealing with Judge Moore, but republicans are onto their stupid last minute tricks and will not allow the important process of this confirmation hearing to be derailed by a single claim by a woman with a bad memory from 36 years ago which should have no bearing on the present in any case regardless of whether the claim is true or partly true or not.
