So what caused Burnett to attack him? He's friends with Mr. Swampy. Ronan Farrow has tapes. Why did Arnold know to give tapes to Ronan?

Farrow is not commenting on whether or not he has the tape because he doesn't comment on ongoing stories.

I doubt such a tape will be found. Only because it would be too easy. We're not getting rid of Trump so easily.

haha. It's only easy because Ronan Farrow has over time built up his reputation as a world class journalist better than even Bob Woodward. When you are so screwed you have to physically assault Tom Arnold, you know it's bad. But don't take my word for it. Take Tom's:

"In 15 years on The Apprentice Mark Burnett never attacked Donald Trump for making racist comments or sexually harassing women. Last night as I entered The Night Before The Emmy's Party, Burnett violently attacked & choked me for doing a TV show about Trump doing those things."

Simply put, Mark Burnett has a lot of skeletons in his closet and it looks like they are all about to come out.
