If there was no PROVEN RUSSIAN COLLUSION... what was the REAL POINT of the Grand Buffoon's Witch Hunt?

Rhetorical question...we ALL KNOW THE ANSWER: to GET TRUMP, on SOMETHING/ANYTHING, NO MATTER WHAT.

The "Big Indictments" of Trump associates for process crimes committed YEARS AGO, to try to use them to "GET SOMETHING ON TRUMP" is the glaringly obvious proof of the Truth of the matter.

To date, Lisa Page’s infamy has been driven mostly by the anti-Donald Trump text messages she exchanged with fellow FBI agent Peter Strzok as the two engaged in an affair while investigating the president for alleged election collusion with Russia.

Yet, when history judges the former FBI lawyer years from now, her most consequential pronouncement may not have been typed on her bureau-issued Samsung smartphone to her colleague and lover.

Rather, it might be eight simple words she uttered behind closed doors during a congressional interview a few weeks ago.

“It’s a reflection of us still not knowing,” Page told Rep. John Ratcliffe


With that statement, Page acknowledged a momentous fact: After nine months of using some of the most awesome surveillance powers afforded to U.S. intelligence, the FBI still had not made a case connecting Trump or his campaign to Russia’s election meddling.

Page opined further, acknowledging “it still existed in the scope of possibility that there would be literally nothing” to connect Trump and Russia, no matter what Mueller or the FBI did.


“As far as May of 2017, we still couldn’t answer the question,” she said at another point.

I reached out to Page's lawyer, Amy Jeffress, on Friday. She declined to answer questions about her client’s cooperation with Congress.

It might take a few seconds for the enormity of Page’s statements to sink in. After all, she isn’t just any FBI lawyer. She was a lead on the Russia case when it started in summer 2016, and she helped it transition to Mueller through summer 2017.

For those who might cast doubt on the word of a single FBI lawyer, there’s more.

Shortly after he was fired, ex-FBI Director James Comey told the Senate there was not yet evidence to justify investigating Trump for colluding with Russia. “When I left, we did not have an investigation focused on President Trump,” Comey testified.

And Strzok, the counterintelligence boss and leader of the Russia probe, texted Page in May 2017 that he was reluctant to join Mueller’s probe and leave his senior FBI post because he feared “there’s no big there, there.”

Except that since Manafort is signing like crooked Canary and given the number of indictments so far...I have to say, this which hunt is finding lots of Witches!

Except that Manafort's PREVIOUS dealing were ALREADY KNOWN to Rosenstein and the Grand Buffoon BEFORE THE WITCH HUNT, and have NOT ONE DAMEND THING TO DO WITH "RUSSIAN COLLUSION"...as I said.

At the time, the FBI lacked the requisite permissions and resources to properly investigate. Such shortfalls were remedied by Rosenstein.

Much has changed since May of 2017. How many witches have now pleaded guilty in this witch-hunt?

Bullcrap. There has been not one shred of proof of collusion since...except from the Hillary Campaign.

The investigation has been going on for over a year now. Just sit back and relax. If Trump is innocent, you don't have anything to worry about.

Concerning your quotes, you're twisting them to mean more than was intended. If there was proof of Trump's guilt there wouldn't be a need for an investigation, right?

There was plenty of probable cause that the whole messy situation needed to be investigated. Plenty of evidence of wrongdoing.

And it was Mueller's job to sort through all of it. Whether it takes the form of "collusion" or anything else.

It was the conclusion of our intelligence agencies that there was Russian interference with a goal of helping Trump and hurting Hillary. The intelligence agencies could have kept investigating this without a special counsel, but Trump had to get involved and try to get the different branches to call off the investigation, even firing Comey in a futile attempt to put a monkey wrench into it.

So, because Trump wasn't letting the investigation proceed in the natural, orderly way through the usual channels, a special counsel was appointed.

Aw how cute what a nice little distraction for Fox News and Hannity to talk about tonight. Me? I'll be watching the Emmys though. Meanwhile the rest of the country is rebelling against the SCOTUS pick from Mr. Swampy. This is a dud. No one cares about text messages between FBI agents. They are boring and also don't prove a deep state or a conspiracy to take down Mr. Swampy. As highlighted specifically by your own damn post.
