GOP Senator Jeff Flake is breaking with Kavanaugh

That is true history. Still the narrative with conservatives is having a war on women. Having him on the court with a 51-49 vote, conservatives will look like they are having a war on women for two generations then a political cycle. The future is female and she is under the age of 30 with a college education or will get a college education. Pushing him onto the court, will change that factor with or without a education.

Any clear thinking person knows this is a leftist ploy. The woman making the allegation cannot name the time and place other than to say it was while she was in high school. Her social media postings reveal her to be a far left anti-Trump activist. Only leftists like you would view Kavanaugh's confirmation as Republicans "pushing him onto the court."

To not confirm him would be kowtowing to the left's outrageous political agenda. Only leftists like you think there is a war on women.

Really doesn't matter what one "thinks," left or right. All that really matters are the numbers and the votes. You can think what you like. So can the lefty's.

It's women in general that feel the GOP is mounting a war against them. Myself, I think that the word "war" is a little extreme but it matters not what I think as this is about what the women think.

Just about every reputable pollster and election analyst has figured out that President Trump is losing big among women, even among segments of the female electorate whom Republicans have traditionally won (e.g., married women, college-educated women). <snip>

The situation, unsurprisingly, has many Republicans stressed out—even depressed. This is especially true among the women strategists, activists, and other leaders who’ve been laboring to address their party’s gender gap. In recent years, the GOP has struggled to combat its image as a pack of grumpy old white guys. Trump, to put it gently, has not been helpful in that regard. Worse still, the overheated, culture-warring nature of Trumpism has disrupted some of the most common avenues Republicans had been using to reach women. And worst of all: Not even the party players who focus on this issue seem to have any sense of where to go from here. <snip>

President Trump is seeing his popularity among women fall to some of its lowest levels since he took office. That's bad news for his party as it tries to retain control of Congress this fall.

An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll reveals that most female voters prefer Democrats this fall, and the gap in Democrats' favor is larger than 20 points. This is in part because women have such a negative view of Trump's job performance. While Trump's overall job performance approval remains low — about 40 percent — the percentage of women approving of his performance is only 3 in 10, 20 points lower than the percentage of men who approve. <snip>

Interesting fellow, Jeff Flake. I find his birthplace to be fascinating due to the current political climate. (Snowflake Az)

It is named Snowflake because the town's founding families were the Snows and the Flakes.

Sen Flake is more than likely going to vote for Kavanaugh. Requesting more information and being through about vetting the judge does not necessarily translate into a NO vote. Regardless of how Flake feels about Trump he is still a conservative republican first and foremost. This nomination is an opportunity to place a conservative justice on the court and the Senator knows it.

Jmo

Does being a conservative mean you should be OK with appointing a rapist to SCOTUS?

The Republicans have NEVER tried such a sickening sexual assault "smear" campaign against a USSC nominee.

Try to justify the Sleazocrat lies SOME OTHER WAY. Sorry.

Prove it is a smear.

The women's movement is shifting to the left. I did not support Bernie Sanders, but, the women's movement is moving more to the left because of him. Same sex marriage, is more positive to women then to men. Women being single mothers than being married to a man is shifting the behavior of women and men. Conservatives do not have a positive lifestyles with same sex married women, single mothers, professional women deciding not to have children. And they are becoming a growing community without the support of the conservative lifestyle.

Show me the positive of being a conservative woman in the 2010's and into the 2020's. In my judgment, conservative women, are passive females with needing a husband telling what she should do or should not do.

So it's full of snow flakes.

Well, calling the town Flakesnow didn't sound right.

We have another town called Show Low, its name derived from a long poker game between two land owners to decide which one was going to sell and move out, after the game went on for too long, they decided to settle by drawing cards "If you can show low, you win" one of the owners drew a 2 of clubs, which is why Main street is called "Deuce of Clubs".

Absolutely not. What kind of question is that?

How do we even know Kavanaugh is a rapist?
