Nearly two-thirds of U.S. terrorism tied to right-wing extremists

The majority of the population may have criticized the handling of Waco and Ruby Ridge but they did not approve of using those actions as a "Pearl Harbor" moment to spawn a paramilitary insurgency in this country.
And the mere thought that the government deserves punishment for attempting to shut down a perverted child sex cult church is disgusting, because while they may have failed to handle it in the best manner possible, I'll gladly suffer five thousand Wacos a day if it means that doomsday cults get wiped out.

Thank you for standing up and identifying yourself as a person who automatically labels anyone who touches Waco "extreme left wing".
At least we now know that you're "extreme right wing".

I'll "review each incident listed", and decide for myself which ones "qualify as terrorist attacks", thank you.
Save your "radioactive" labels, you're gonna need em.

Except that the Las Vegas shooter didn’t claim the motivation of Waco as a cause for shooting up the music festival, but that’s a reason that SPLCs source uses to justify the claim that it’s right wing terrorism, that claim is at best specious, and in reality is wholly unsupported, especially since no authority has even definitely ascribed a motive. This isn’t a litigation over Waco, its a criticsm over their methodology.

Also, 26 children died at Waco, times 5000 is 130,000 times 365 is 47,450,000. You are literally worse then Hitler as you would disregard the lives of 47,000,000 children per anuum as justified to impose an ideology if your statement is to be believed. Talk about toxic ideology.

OMG you're going to blame law enforcement for the deaths of those 26 kids instead of Koresh, so in other words, had Koresh and ONLY Koresh survived, and you were on the jury, you would exonerate him.

DULY NOTED.

Girls as young as 11 were given a plastic Star of David, signifying that they had "the light" and were ready to have sex with the cult leader. A team of therapists said these were some of the things that 19 of the 21 surviving children of the Branch Davidian cult had told them about their lives inside the compound.

Maybe those 26 children died because none of the parents had the brains to recognize evil when they saw it, but that doesn't mean anything to you, does it? I didn't think so.

That's because you are incapable of recognizing evil.

I guess today is the day when we shine some sunlight on ALL the extremist whackjobs.

I really don't care which side does it more. All incidents should be universally condemned by everyone.

I'm complete opposite of you about waco. No doubt they appeared to be some kind of screwball cult. That however isn't illegal. Some allegations were made and the government has an obligation to look into them.

What the fbi did was excessive and a massive one at that. If this an isolated incident I might be inclined to think that it was an isolated case of excessive force but it's not. There are many examples of this type of behavior

Yeah, discredited themselves, they have, prominent voices from across the political spectrum, as shown below, seem to reinforce that conclusion.

I'll buy that for a dollar.
They aren't set up to monitor the extreme left, eh?
They should get busy and do some setting up, because the mechanism for monitoring is the same, only the target differs.
Yeah sure, it points to their partiality, but that doesn't mean that all of the data that they gather from outside sources is suspect, it just means that they engage in a slanted approach.

By the way, are we ready to list the number of similar groups on the Right that compile databases of what they perceive as the extreme Left?
What if one organization compiled the data from all groups, those which monitor the extremes on both Right and Left?
It certainly makes their claim of 2\3rds suspect. Maybe 2/3rds of what they looked at but they admitted they are not set up to look at all terrorist activities.

Are you done derailing the point with your straw man?

However since you are challenging me, let me tell you what I would like to have seen, Koresh in custody serving time and the children getting help for their trauma and Alive to rebuild their lives, something they didn’t get because of excessive force on Janet Reno’s orders.

Read the book “bombs bullets and fast talk” by James Botting, he was one of the FBI negotiators, he explains how he felt the incident could’ve been resolved peacefully if not for his superiors in Washington

Two thirds! In a country where those with pre-existing mental health conditions have the right to own an assault rifle, but not to healthcare.

Every United States citizen has a right to healthcare. Why do you say they don't? It's literally illegal to deny a citizen medical treatment, in The United States.

You're just making yourself look bad, sorry.
They did not just "appear" to be "a screwball cult"...the guy was banging eleven year old kids and telling everyone he was God.
Where most people come from on this planet, that's called sexual abuse of a minor and it's illegal as Hell.
Allegations? I don't think that word means what you think it means. There's testimony from the surviving children.
It didn't APPEAR to be a screwball cult, it WAS a screwball cult, a heavily armed doomsday screwball cult, the kind that wanted to start a war.

You're the complete opposite of me on Waco? No...you're just one more right wing snowflake who screams "REMEMBER WACO!!!" anytime you want to justify destroying the government, to justify demonizing Democrats, to justify your perceived right to put together insurgent paramilitary armies, to justify blowing up **** that you hate instead.
I am not the least bit impressed.

Waco was a tragedy but you and others like you have been dining out on Waco for a quarter of a century and it's time we cut up your meal ticket.
No more using Waco as your excuse....for EVERYTHING.

If this an isolated incident I might be inclined to think that it was an isolated case of excessive force but it's not. There are many examples of this type of behavior

Yeah well, there's also many examples of you right wing tyrants attacking people you disagree with too."
And you guys have been using Waco as your inoculation for twenty-five years.
David Koresh is your Jesus? Go suck up to David Koresh, then.

Yeah it could have been resolved, I don't know about peacefully, but sure...it could have been resolved less violently.
Still doesn't exonerate David Koresh, and it still doesn't give you yahoos the right to scream "REMEMBER WACO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" every time you want to start a war against the government, every time you want to demonize Democrats, every time you want to set up your own private paramilitary army, every time you want to pretend that the United States isn't a legitimate entity.

Like I said to trouble13, you wingnuts have been dining out on Waco for twenty-five years.
The free lunch ends now.

So to protect the children from David Koresh (which the government didn’t use as a justification, their search warrants were all based on questionable weapons charges) let’s just kill all of them! Koresh can’t rape the 11 year olds if we illegally kill the 11 y/o s!

Rights in America are something that is protected from government, so having a "right to healthcare" would simply mean the government can't stop you from receiving it.

Except you’re trying to make self righteous responses to arguments no one made.

First off I will criticize the government response to Waco until federal agents see the inside of a jail cell over it,

But second off no one justified David Koresh, the reason Waco entered this conversation is because SPLC cited a source that claimed Stephen Paddock was a right wing terrorist because he happened to criticize the government reaction to Waco and Ruby Ridge years before his shooting rampage in Vegas for which a motive has not been identified, do you think that’s a sound argument?

I think you and many others are trying to inoculate Stephen Paddock, and I find that every bit as disturbing as the FBI's disastrous response to Waco. But you go ahead and exonerate Paddock if you like.
I guess you guys are trying to inoculate yourselves.

And you just accused me of building a straw man? :lamo

You’re the one who said you’d rather see 5000 Waco’s every single day (for 47,000,000 fatalities of unarmed non combatant children a year) if it meant elimination of freaky cults, those are your words, you can walk back on them any time you want

No one is trying to exonerate Paddock, again you’re throwing bogus straw men out.

Do you believe Paddocks crimes were politically motivated terrorism and what do you base the answer on if yes?

Maybe twenty thousand.
