Trump Train Derailing

I think the pollsters aside from Gallup and Ras which have a definite slant are being cautious, and possibly the Dems may take more seats in the House. My guess is 25 to 40 CDs
From what I gather 3 Senate races are tight - Florida, Arizona and for the life of me cannot think of the other State

Well 25 would do it. 40 would be better as it sends more of a message.

Indiana should also be tight and it looks like Texas may be close as well.

The GOP Rode The Trump Train, And Now It's Derailing

GOP Senator Susan Collins

VOTE on November 6! Our nation, its governance, its fiscal health, and our environment are being assaulted on a daily basis by the Trump/GOP cabal.

Vote Nov 6 for higher taxes, more regulation and proof that fear mongering and lies works! Vote Dem, Vote Early, Vote Often.

Collins is getting old...she probably wasn't going to run anyway. But really, how dare her constituents try to sway her vote on an issue they care about. What do think this country is...a representative democracy? It doesn't sound like her lawyer is too bright. It also sounds like Collin's had already made up her mind before she met with Trump.

I have a feeling this is not going to end well for Collins...especially if she decides to run again.

I agree with your suspicion that Collins will never run again. If she votes YES on Kavanaugh - it is definite proof of that.

That would make 4. Not including Texas, I will think of the other one. I am over 25 and allowed to forget

Well I am 69 and sometimes I forget why I find myself in the bathroom.

If you do not like traditional God bless American laws, values and traditions, then vote democrat and good luck dealing with the repercussions of the wicked democrat agenda.

Studies show that the most religious countries are also the poorest...and that the more modern and wealthy a nation gets, the more secular it becomes. So good luck with your religion and anti-American agenda.

Trump is a drag on R's running for the House and Senate.

You sure about that? I was looking at some mighty fine progress today shown in recent polls for Republicans. Some real progress for at least 4 R Senate candidates to overtake currently held Democrat seats. I also saw great progress in 7 House races that have been in the lean Democrat moving to tossup and tossups moving to likely Republican.

Also the Generic Ballot is all over the place. One day you have a poll claiming Democrats have a +14 and the next day you have a poll claiming Democrats a +3.

One thing I have learned over the years watching polls, it is important to get into the guts of the poll to see how accurate it to be. Even Rasmussen in their polling almost always poll those who identify as Democrats over Republicans. And when it comes to RCP averages, add +2 to +3 points in favor of Republicans to get a truer average.

The internet is where gods go to die. It's a lot harder to get people to believe in an imaginary friend once they're educated, so "traditional God bless American laws, values and traditions" are thankfully on the way out.

Tennessee is the other State

Then what are your numbers for the House/Senate?

America became rich because it became secular? Where do you learn stuff like that?

Enter the tribal barbarian hedonist savage: "Say goodbye to conservative Christians, God, the Bible and God bless American traditions, values, morals and godly civilized heritage. The devil is here to take over and to stay."

No..you need your eyes checked because I said, as a country gets richer it becomes more secular. Which is exactly what happened after WW2 with the largest expansion of the middle class in history. So really, your only hope to save religion from secularism is to destroy the middle class and make America poor again.

Religion does not destroy individual wealth and widespread economic health, that is what socialism and communism does. Consider what history has taught us to expect from the end of the Burner Sanders democrat socialism scheme, for example. Burney does not promote God, he promotes socialism.

North Dakota is the one I think has been overlooked inadvertently. The D incumbent Heidi Helencamp or whatever her last name is - I'm too lazy to look it up at the moment but you know who.

This election is not 2006 however when D's swept the board to get the net plus of six seats they needed to get a senate majority of one. For D's to win control of the senate by even one this time around they have to hold too many seats in addition to winning R held ones. In other words, D's would need a Tsunami rather than a wave. We'll get a better idea starting about two weeks before election day. The people on the ground in the states will begin to know then, not the polling.

I'll be 74 next month btw.

I think it's next month.

Recently I think I'm having more birthdays than a dog.

yes , the sheer numbers this time around are indeed a steep mountain in the Senate for the Dems to climb and conquer.
