Dianne feinstein withholding brett kavanaugh document from fellow judiciary committee democrats

The FBI is investigating it, which means it's going to become drama.

The FBI is investigating lots of things, some sensible and some silly, some reasonable and some insane.

Nope; where did you get that notion from?!?

Personally, I'm disappointed the FBI handed it off to the WH so quickly. I had hoped someone at the FBI would "leak" the letter to the NYT so we all could read it.
Again, the FBI let us down. (sigh)

Personally I am disappointed if she had the letter since July and just used it as delay tactic.

She should taken it straight to the FBI when she received it or she never should have told anyone she ever saw it.

If it was just to delay the vote than it was IMHO a pathetic ploy and she should be ashamed of herself.

its the senile Feinswine desperate to stop the seating of a justice who is apparently hostile to her hatred of gun owners, white Christian Males and the GOP

I think Lady Di wants to show she's got the whatever-it-takes-Leftist chops her Party is looking for these days.
This choice was a bad one to use for that.
She'll look like a fool if we ever find out what's in the letter.

Interesting in its hilarity. An "echo of Anita Hill"?
This is typical MSM spin and partisan hackery.

Let's conflate with Anita Hill and imply sexual misdeeds and ruin Kavanaugh's nomination.

The panel and STOP-THE-HAMMERING Lawrence O'Donnell literally have no facts about what's contained in the letter, but they don't let that stop them from doing an entire segment on Brett Kavanaugh assaulting a young woman when he was 17.

Unbelievable.

Where exactly is the bottom?

This is nothing more than on obvious pathetic and childish delay tactic that has no merit; "I have a secret that I'm not going to tell you about." Even more pathetic is that it supposedly occurred more than 30 years ago while he was in high-school - What "activities" was Feinstein performing in her "high-school years?"

The problem being, has he repeated the situation since then.

From the OP

"It purportedly describes an incident that was relayed to someone affiliated with Stanford University, who authored the letter and sent it to Rep. Anna Eshoo, a Democrat who represents the area."

So the story was told to somebody affiliated with Stanford University, second hand information.

Then that person authored a letter about said second hand information and sent it to a representative.

Then that letter was sent to Senator Feinstein.

Since there was no first hand information in the letter, why would anybody take it seriously?

Apparently according to the following the woman did tell what happened to her in the letter.

The allegation dates back to the early nineteen-eighties, when Kavanaugh was a high-school student at Georgetown Preparatory School, in Bethesda, Maryland, and the woman attended a nearby high school. In the letter, the woman alleged that, during an encounter at a party, Kavanaugh held her down, and that he attempted to force himself on her. She claimed in the letter that Kavanaugh and a classmate of his, both of whom had been drinking, turned up music that was playing in the room to conceal the sound of her protests, and that Kavanaugh covered her mouth with his hand. She was able to free herself. Although the alleged incident took place decades ago and the three individuals involved were minors, the woman said that the memory had been a source of ongoing distress for her, and that she had sought psychological treatment as a result.
In a statement, Kavanaugh said, “I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time.”
