There are many kookers on both sides. Neither side is winning the race. They are running neck and neck.

OK, what's a kooker? Never heard the expression before, but it does sound funny. :)

Republican logic: If the United States of America is abolished to official end all taxes from the United States of America -- what is left would have full employment.

Oh come on, at least be honest. That graph in post #3 was ridiculously biased.

And I'm middle of the road up here in Canada. Voted Conservative and Socred numerous times.

The graphs the left post are ridiculously biased.

LOL. Who knew 3.5% was such a huge change?

When the facts are not on their side, lies, and deceit is all they have.

Same economy. Obama is in office the economy is terrible. Trump is in office it's booming. Same economy.

We're dealing with seriously irrational people.
Except it's NOT the same economy.

You guys are a hoot. First you say that Trump isn't helping coal miners and then you say that he is.

I'm not "you guys". And I'm middle of the road, at least in Canada. So please don't hold me responsible for what others have said.

AFAIK, Trump got the coal miners a few jobs, but I personally think both they, and the nation, would have been better served with retraining to do something that actually needs doing.

All the numbers I've seen look similar. All the graphs I've seen have the same upward slope. And these are graphs that start at "Zero" on the y-axis.

I do know Trump has paid a lot for the current growth, with huge tax breaks for himself and his rich buddies, as well as giving up clean water and clean air. Those bills will come due some day, and it's likely you are condemning your children to work at repaying your loans their entire lives.

After adjusting for inflation, today’s average hourly wage has just about the same purchasing power it did in 1978. Sluggish and uneven wage growth is a key factor behind widening income inequality in the United States. The federal minimum wage was set in 2009 at $7.25 an hour. Some states and cities have raised their minimum wage even higher than that. Washington currently has the highest state minimum wages in the country at $11.50 per hour, and Emeryville, CA, currently has the highest city minimum wage at $15.69 an hour.

On January 1, 2018, eighteen states across the country increased minimum wage requirements for workers. Alaska, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, Ohio and South Dakota raised their rates based on cost of living, while eleven states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Michigan, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington, raised their rates because of previously approved legislation or ballot initiatives.

The federal guidelines for setting the minimum wage;
"A living wage is the minimum income necessary for a worker to meet their basic needs." Living wage advocates have further defined a living wage as the wage equivalent to the poverty line for a family of four.

LOL. It was Obamacare which caused an explosion of part time jobs and then the left had the gall to try claiming that that was a good part about Obamacare.

It's a shame you couldn't have had what Obama actually envisioned. Instead you got some sort of mutant cross that was better than before, ie no more pre-existing conditions, but still so far from being good.

Why didn't you guys on the right demand single payer from the get-go? With your help Obama could have pushed it through, and your healthcare would be so much better, nobody would care what it was called.

LOL, I'm sure the plethora of economists, even some left-leaning, are wrong and your detailed analysis of graph slopes are correct. But, just for fun take a look at a graph of the DJIA in 2016, notice a particular upward inflection on Nov 10 - the day after Trump one. Since then it's up 45%

Nonsense, mindless Loony left claptrap. Have anything to say other than ideological baloney.

Cool, do you have a link?

I understand that this what Trump and Alex Jones have told you to think, and what with you having TDS and all, you're going to believe them. But it's not reality.

US deficit to approach $1tn after Trump tax cuts and spending bill

Trump will personally save up to $15m under tax bill, analysis finds

Report: Trump Moving to Ease Methane Pollution Limits

EPA rolls back Obama-era coal pollution rules

The EPA is suspending the Clean Water Rule while it scrambles to come up with a replacement.

Come out of the bubble, the air is fine. Well, it's getting worse so you better hurry.

Funnmy think is that we were "approaching $1tn deficits any way. CBO has been projecting them since early in Obama's second term. Sorry, I'm not subject to the jealousy and envy mindset of the left so I really could not careless how much Trump saved. I'm not going to comment on environmental hysteria.

So you have nothing. That's what happens when you succumb to TDS.

Wasn't me running in circles wailing about how bad Trump was. TDS is on the other keyboard.

I am against Obama, Hillary, and other Democrats for purposely trying to kill coal mining jobs. I have nothing against expanding green energy and doing whatever we can in order to do that and let the coal industry phase out due to the free market. Sorry for referring to you as "you guys". Unfortunately, there are a lot of "you guys" on this site.

I don't want single payer and I have more than one pre-existing condition. Because of those conditions I have talked with people all over the world (including Canada) and I would never in a million years trade my healthcare that I get for any single payer system in the world and I am a pretty much average Joe middle income person.

Do you also complain about all the asbestos jobs that were killed? Do you mind if we build the coal plant in your neighborhood?

LOL. I live in Kentucky! We have, tobacco, whiskey, and coal. What's next, eliminating tobacco and whiskey?
