Georgia School Announces It Will Start Paddling Children As Punishment

I save substance for those who deserve it. Your assumptions and tactics have shown you to be otherwise. You want to have a conversation with me, then have a conversation with me civilly, and leave your preconceptions on the back porch where they belong, they've got nothing to do with me. Otherwise you're just another noob coming on here trying to gather attention for themselves at my expense.

As for your alleged substance, you must be confusing me with someone else, as all you've delivered to me in this exchange is self important horse****.

All the best yourself. Hopefully next time we chat, you are a little more worth the time...

now that you are upset, ill you smack your kid?

see how that works?

peace

What does a sentence that doesn't make a whole lot of sense have to do with the topic of this thread?

Why not just answer the question. I'll try again, who do you call when you are confronted by someone breaking into your home?

What does that have to do with the topic of the thread? Feel free to respond to anything I have said in this thread on topic.

I did...and you still won't answer the question. Why are you so afraid?

The answer you are looking for is the police. Now what is your point?

I'll include you in my response if the other poster, that I was responding to, finds the integrity to answer like you did.

My God. So annoying. Dont bother

Who do you call when confronted by someone who say...breaking into your home?

What does that have to do with the OP topic of school administrators beating children?

Obviously, that would be the Police. Now, you've made 5 posts in this thread and not one is focused on the actual topic of this thread. Feel free to start your own thread to discuss your off topic question further as you clearly have you have no intention of discussing the topic here.

How about you follow the full conversation before you walk into the middle of one?

It would've been 1 post of you wouldn't have run away from a simple question so many times.

Now...back to your original post I responded to.

Children learn from their parents/teachers behaviour/actions.

I just can't agree with teaching children that physical punishment is an appropriate way to express feelings and to solve problems. It's really not.

So now you admit above that there actually is a use for physical punishment to solve problems, which is what the police represent in the question I provided. Further, if someone where attacking you, you'd use it as well to defend yourself. There are all kinds of reasons and uses for using force.

It can also be used to correct behavior, like kids are will not conform to good order in schools, disrupting education and causing loss untold funds. Parent's don't want their kids to be disciplined. They want to treat schools like daycare. It's not.

My god. You want teachers to treat kids like cops treat people who are breaking the law? These kids are not breaking the law. Wow

Nope...never said that. I can understand if someone has an issue with reading and intellectual integrity thinking that, but I was merely pointing out that force is most definitely a tool to use in society. Full stop. So all you fakers can quit being dishonest.

Thank you captain obvious

I've always believed that the paddle is not traumatic for a child , what is traumatic is verbal abuse, bullying, shaming, etc.

It's OK to have an opinion in the absence of fact, not in conflict with it.
