I hate that all they do is throw money into advertising to manipulate you to wanting there product.

he sure is still not signed by a team!
The Unions ****ed over the American workers. All they represent today is the Union leadership, the, government and specifically...the democrats. Time after time they have screwed workers. Unions stopped having value decades ago. But since they take money FROM the government and give massive donations to democrats, leftists love them. The better question is how anyone in this day and age and after decades of anemic wage gains, while profits skyrocket, that killing off unions helps American workers. Question: do workers have more negotiating power as a group or acting individually?
I don't care if that's any help.

Well, pretty much any company selling apparel spends a great deal of their budget marketing their goods. There's nothing wrong with that, or unusual. If the marketing doesn't motivate you, that's fine, you're likely not the target, just like I'm flummoxed by ads for women's clothing and accessories.
The stock price reflects far more than 'the attention span of conservatives.' I dont have time, but perhaps someone else will educate you on how markets work.
Not true at all.
I am not gonna hold class here though.
BTW, Underarm is the same crap. They have the same approach.
Who is Underarm? A new deodorant?
Under Armour obviously
another company that puts a disproportionate amount into marketing rather than product quality/development.
What kills me is that it works. People want to wear/use these brands in spite of having to pay a premium for their marketing.
If you knew what it cost Nike for the sneakers your jaw would drop.

Was it the ~30% rise in sales afterwards? Is that how the market works?
No...
Of course there is an answer seeing as how 90% of American workers dont belong to a unionI don't have the patience to argue with you about it, but the problem is with the demise of unions, what has happened to wages for American workers? Fine, you don't like unions. What is the alternative? There is no perfect answer - just least bad alternatives like just about everything else in life.
Thats true, but the reason union membership has dried up is because they arent necessary and are not wanted. And you didn't answer my question because you know the answer - there is power in numbers and the last thing a company wants is employees having more power.

That's the point - all those in that market do the same "crap."
You are not even warm.
LOL, from my link: "The information comes via Steve Bence, Nike's Director of Global Transition Management" but random internet dude knows better I guess. Whatever....

You (Fletch) are going to tell us how the stock market works, when you don't even know the difference between a stock and "shares".
I have not made myself clear.
A hundred dollar shoe does cost them, anyone, (wholesaler) about $25. That is not the price it cost to manufacture them which is what I was speaking to.
Putting that logo on ups the price considerably.
You can buy the exact same shoes without the logo for half that.
