Woodward's "White House SOURCES" Out His Book as a Pack of Lies

Looks like WOODWARD is the LIAR NOW. Let's HEAR HIS RECORDED INTERVIEWS with all the people he claims said what they did.

Oh wait!!! For some "ODD REASON", Woodward FAILED TO DO THAT THIS TIME...gosh, and EVERYONE he claims to be "quoting" says he is a damned LIAR.

What an amazing "coincidence" that huh? FORGOT to tape the interviews, and EVERYONE SAYS HE's LYING...gosh..what are the odds, huh?

Woodward said yesterday he has "hundreds of hours of tapes". He also has a hard earned reputation as a solid reporter. Trumpkins will never believe him, that goes without saying. The sane world, as it has many times before, will take him seriously.

Looks like Bob Woodward "has some 'splainin' to do". Virtually EVERY WHITE HOUSE SOURCE he cited in his TDS Trump Attack Book, "Fear", has VEHEMENTLY DENIED HIS CLAIMS ABOUT WHAT THEY HACE SAID and/or DONE....a MAJOR EMBARASSMENT for the LONGTIME WASHHINGTON "INSIDER", and his desperately transparent attempt to "cash in" on attacking the President...regardless of what the FACTS ARE:

Woodward's "White House SOURCES" Out His Book as a Pack of Lies

President Donald Trump on Tuesday called a new book on his White House by famed investigative journalist Bob Woodward "just another bad book" and "nasty stuff."

"He's had a lot of of credibility problems," Trump told The Daily Caller in an an interview about Woodward's book, "Fear: Trump in the White House."

"I probably would have preferred to speak with him, but maybe not. I think it probably wouldn't have made a difference in the book. He wanted to write the book a certain way," the president said.

You are sincerely putting you trust in this guy's honesty?

President Trump has made 4,229 false or misleading claims in 558 days

That time Trump claimed to be 'John Barron' to lie about his wealth

$25 million settlement finalized in Trump University lawsuit

Laughably poor judgement appears to be very contagious in the USA.

I don't believe it would make one bit of difference to your opinion if you heard the tapes.

Trump must be the biggest snowflake of all time. I'm sure he'll be channeling his inner 9 year old girl all day on twitter. On the positive side, another day where he ignores the country's business.

Well, yesterday I said Woodward was generally reliable and what I read in the WAPO had the ring of truth because the description of a screwed up WH sounded like what Kurtz wrote in his book.
Today, after how folks like Mattis, Kelly, and Dowd had responded to their alleged quotes in the book, I'm not sure if Woodward can hide behind "Well that's what my sources told me.".
If those 3 weren't the actual sources then there shouldn't have been quotes around the statements as though directly attributed to them.
I've had a problem with that practice in any book like this one.

I'm really interested to see an interview with Woodward and have someone ask him how those 3, for example, responded when he asked for their comment before he put them in the book ... assuming he asked them for comment.

We have heard all of the other stuff already. I don't need Mattis to tell me Trump is incompetent and way over his head. That is visible everyday in everything Trump does.

Yeah, apparently more quotes from people saying Trump is a literal moron, and operates at the intellectual level of an eleven or twelve year old. Confirmation of what other members of his staff have said, and what we can plainly hear when he talks.

The thing is none of this is new, these same stories have been circulating since the beginning of Trump's term. Heck, much of it we see on a regular basis on twitter.

According to the book, numerous people have referred to him as a literal moron, as someone who lies constantly, as someone who is constantly losing their temper, as someone who constantly berates and degrades his staff. Trump demonstrates all these qualities in a typical day of tweets.

Woodward has a spotless reputation for detail and thorough investigation. Oh, and he has tapes; lots of tapes.

Apparently he also has a copy (or perhaps the original!) letter that Coryn swiped off his desk for national security reasons. When everything shakes out, the score will be Woodward 1, White House 0.

BTW, if I was Dowd (client confidentiality), Matthis (needs to keep his job lest Trump run amuck) or Kelly (same as Matthis), I'd issue public denials as well. I seriously doubt any of them actually spoke to Woodward themselves; but I don't doubt others in the room who did are on tape saying so.

I agree with everything in you post except the final score which I expect to be a lot more in Woodwards favor that just 1 to 0.

Not only is this similar to the FIRE AND FURY book and the Amarossa book - but also rings very true with day after day after day reports of what people say behind the scenes in the White House and in Congress. That picture should scare the daylights out of every American since we have a man child with serious mental issues in control of this nation.

The idea that we have top White House people who have to protect this country from its greatest danger - the president they are serving - is beyond alarming.

We need to look at the 25th Amendment and move on it ASAP.

Why is it that everyone who gets near the White House calls it a dysfunctional madhouse except for the people that are currently running it?

Yeah.
That stuff was in Kurtz book also.
A messed up WH. I believe Trump contributes to it and let it happen because of his mercurial personality.
I don't believe Trump can be a "literal moron" and manage to accomplish what he has.
We don't know who those people are who called him a moron.
They could be 3rd stringer Obama leftovers. We don't know.
We've heard it before but Kelly, as an example, had denied the quotes attributed to him the first time too. And Mattis has been strong with his denail. And Dowd said what was in the book didn't happen.
I have an issue with serious accusations like that when they don't come from the people who supposedly said them.

You think calling it "Crazytown" (Kelly's term) suggests it is not dysfunctional?

Translation: Professional liars claim the most respectful journalist in the world is a liar.

In Other News: The Sky is Blue, but not according to the people in the WH.

Woodward has a rock solid record for journalistic integrity; Trump is one of the foremost liars of our time. There really isn't any question which side of this "he said; she said" is to be believed....and, oh yes, and Woodward has tapes.

Let us also point out that the early releases of the Woodward book are quite consistent with other reports of what is happening inside the gates at 1600 Pennsylvania. Your response should have been "oh no, not another book about how deranged Trump is. Make it stop!"

But the President said that it paints a totally different picture of who he really is. (without offering any evidence). I mean this is the same guy who's wife HATES him!

He speaks. He thinks. he checks all the boxes.

He has no major legislation or major accomplishments. It's sad that Trump has to sell to Woodward the he is doing a great job.

Conservatives are prolific writers. They pump out books like crazy. Ever wonder why we almost never see a right-leaning writers books on Trump?

Because the Conservatives/Republicans that read, know whats going on.

Trump fan are dialed in via his tweets. 140 characters is perfect.

Yeah...so did DAN RATHER, until his BUSH DERANGEMENT SYBDROME took over, same a WOODWARD with Trump.

Where are the RECOORDINGS of these "statetments"?

Oooops!!?? The "Consummate Journalist" FORGOT TO RECORD HIS SOURCES, in what he claimed were CONSENSUAL INTERVIEWS?

Well, I'll be; he can JUST SAY WHATEVER HE WANTS W/O ANY PROOF, can't he?

Maybe Dan Rather can "whip him up" some PHONY MEMOS, to BACKUP HIS LIES......

Don't let your ignorance of the journalistic process get in the way of your baseless rants.... oh wait, you not letting it.

Again, let me point out that every major newspaper in the US told us this is what Trump was about. Here are the editorial pages of some of the most conservative that told us Trump was unfit for office.

https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/2016/09/07/recommend-hillary-clinton-us-president
https://www.cincinnati.com/story/op...dorses-hillary-clinton-donald-trump/90728344/

http://www.azcentral.com/story/opinion/editorial/2016/09/27/hillary-clinton-endorsement/91198668/

They all said "don't vote for Trump, he is unfit", but we didn't listen. We probably did not take heed because far too much of America is illiterate...and too many of those people were Trump supporters.

Wait those newspapers all told us in the fall of 2016 is what Woodward is telling us today: Trump is unfit for office. He must go.

People keep talking about how Woodward has "hundreds of hours of tapes". I have to ask...tapes of what?

Woodward has a tape of some unnamed person telling him about something someone told him about what Kelly said about Trump.

Woodward has a tape of Kelly saying something about Trump.

Only one of those tapes is useful. Which one does Woodward have?

He tapes his interviews so that he gets his story straight. Woodward is one of the finest investigative journalists of our time. While his book might not be 100% accurate, you can rest assured its accuracy is in the very high 90's. He has tapes to backup substantially all of the statements and claims made in his book. You can read his book and be reasonably assured that you are getting the real scoop about what is going on inside the White House.

You can choose to continue in the world of denial where Trump is just a mis-understood person unduly aligned by a press that is out to get him (you know, you can choose to live in the cult), or you can choose to live in the real world where we know things are not right with Trump and his presidency, with our ignorance being that its probably much worse than most of us imagine.
