  • How the hell can one know what notion one doesn't like if one doesn't listen to/read it? What you've described is substantively the same thing as determining that one doesn't like broccoli's taste before having eaten broccoli.

If you don't mind, and not to deflect from the thread, but could you please explain to me why you put an asterisk in front of certain words, like the ones above that start with an s but not all words that start with an s?
