My solution to helping house undocumented immigrants and the homeless.

I think we need to start housing them in college Dormitories with the students. We can pay for this by raising the rates for tuition. A lot of the big universities should endorse this since they care a lot for immigrant rights. As many liberals say, housing is a right, not a privilege. Students can learn a lesson in real life being roommates with people that have nothing or no immigration status. School security can enforce the security. There will be a lot more space during the Summertime.

The schools can hire them for positions like janitors or landscapers having them earn their keep.

Undocumented immigrants don't = homeless
 
I know that, obviously why i said ui's and the homeless. You kill two birds with one stone.

But, they have homes. Most do. They aren't leaving their homes.

I know that, obviously why i said ui's and the homeless. You kill two birds with one stone.

Then why not give them a college education while they are there. Then upon graduation, give them authorization to work in the US.

That is an excellent idea.
