We need to keep our eyes on the ball, here. The right wing is the enemy who wants a society where only white cis males have any rights. They're not an enemy you can reason with. They've got to be defeated. When you're in a war you grieve for the enemies leaders. Time for the left to show some cajones.

Off topic: did you ever get around to listening to some of those prank calls to Duncan Construction? The old man should have quit his job and gotten into stand-up.
 
I*vaguely remember there being a lot of issues with McCain and the families of Vietnam POWs and MIAs. I believe he worked vigilantly to stop the release of debriefings and other information regarding those issues. I’m honestly too lazy to look it up right now.

He didn’t follow a*party line so that is more than you can say for a lot of politicians but he’s certainly getting a lot of praise from the left that he wasn’t getting in 2007.
