I'm not saying the story is true or not. It's just more drama in the reality show that is Donald Trump's presidency. Can you imagine the ratings if there was a paternity test result reveal? Easily millions of viewers.

If the story had no merit, why would AMI give him $30,000 to keep it quiet?

Can I just make stuff up about Trump and get $30k?

Well the stripper story, ya had the same views, the Playboy Playmate, ya had the same story. Now we know they are true, and many of us knew it was at the time. Ya keep on standing up against that wall and getting shot down.

If Obama was recorded being a complete piece of ****, people who voted for him would be angry at him. They wouldn't respond by going onto an internet debate board and posting a bunch of provocatively stupid deflections about conservatives.

I work at an investment bank and every year it is drilled into our heads that offering jobs is bribery.

But the Trump administration bribing someone is not even a big story because there is just too much corruption to cover.

To keep anyone else from running the story, even if false. The grocery store gossip magazines are a unique field of competition.
 
From what I heard Pecker/AMI were in a hurry to sign off releasing the doorman from any penalties if he spoke. Word is Prosecutors could consider these deals as interfering/delaying an investigation.
They were some quick to release the doorman of any liability.
Expect more to come from Pecker

Look, this man was paid $30,000 to keep quiet. He is now telling the story because he was released by the National Enquirer NDA. Why would the National Enquirer pay $30,000 and have the man sign an NDA if there wasn't truth to it. Would you pay that to keep someone's made-up story from getting out? because if that is the case, I an about everyone else in the world will be knocking at the National Enquirer's door tomorrow.

Again, I make no claim that the allegation is true. The man was paid $30k to keep quiet. That's the real story. I'm claiming that Trump's presidency is a joke. It's like a reality show. Every week it's something else. You can't blame the media for this. If people were paid $30K to keep quiet about an Obama love child allegation, that would be huge news.

Surely, when the man made the claim Pecker called Trump and asked him if it was true. Why would Pecker pay for a totally false story. My bet is that it's just another affair without a love child. But who knows? Stay tuned for next week to learn if Trump has a love child or just another affair. Will Melania stay? Stay tuned!

So, the enquire pays for stories and silences them to keep the competition from running them? That makes no sense. We've already seen a pattern where the Enquirer paid for true stories and kept them quiet.

Do you deny that they have paid for true Trump stories like his affair with a porn star and kept those quiet? Why should we believe that this is different?
