A Mexican restaurant is facing backlash after serving Jeff Sessions

A popular Tex-Mex restaurant served dinner to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, calling it an “honor” on Facebook. In response, left-leaning Houstonians called for a boycott, and the restaurant received so much criticism on social media that it deleted all its accounts.

That same night, El Tiempo Cantina posted a picture of Sessions with co-owner Dominic Laurenzo on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

“We had the honor to [serve] Mr. Jeff Sessions, Attorney General of the United States,” the caption said. “Thank you for allowing us to serve you.”

The post got an immediate response on social media and quickly spawned the hashtag #BoycottElTiempo.

Unbelievable. Now the left wants restaurants to openly harass and not serve people who they feel go against their ideology. Whatever happened to tolerance? Doesn't this go against the most business practice to provide great customer service?

Stories like this one simply point to what Trump has done to America. The bad old days have returned and Trump has made us more divided that at any time in at least three quarters of a century if not longer.

Obama held Mexican minors in detention to punish and interrogate them, or have you never heard of the Juvenile Referral Process?

The idea of social shaming put forth by the Left is incredible. The oddest part is that they actually do expect businesses and others to smear those with whom they disagree.

I don't think this is about their intended targets as much as it it about poor social understanding -- influenced by the "me, me, me" attitudes learned in public schools today.

We ate there a few weeks ago. One of our favorite places and nice folks. We also like Lupe Tortilla (one in the Woodlands) so if the Left wants to boycott or complain about that one, best get on it!

I think the Progressive Left are destroying the Democrat party and taking the country down a path it won't soon recover from.

His refusal to fulfill his oath of office is betraying the nation.

This is like only blaming the victims for the actions of the perpetrators.

People have the ability to govern themselves and their actions (it's called self-control). It's not like either side has not had a President they've disliked/loathed before. There is a sentiment to go out and riot and destroy that seems to have reignited even before Trump was elected. Be honest, you know that's true.

The election of Trump is a factor, but it is not the only one. This type of behavior started before he was elected. Ask yourselves: who benefits from a divided America?

Yep. The left gets TDS and then blames Trump for having given it to them. We aren't divided so much because of Trump but because of the refusal of the left to accept that they lost an election to him. Then, in their usual way, they blindly attack anyone or anything they think is even remotely connected to Trump or responsible for helping him succeed.

That is beyond ignorant as it is polls that measure the divide among Americans on Trump. You want the room measured to identify its dimensions but you bar the use of a tape measure. That is utterly ridiculous.

According to this Nixon was a less divisive president than Obama according to their average approval numbers during their presidencies. It even shows W was less divisive than Obama. While Trump is on track to take the lowest spot the two worst in my life span so far is Carter and Obama.
