It certainly seems reasonable to post the names, addresses and phone numbers of these KKK/Nazis. They can defend themselves as the grieving parents are STILL being harassed, very often illegally.

It's like when he said he believed Putin over U.S. intellience, then tried to back pedal to say he should have put a not in there, and then he couldn't help go off script and undo his back pedal.

He makes a sympathetic statement to the white nationalists, then comes up with a scripted condemnation, and then quickly goes back to his racist dog whistles and winking, and then because he dug his hole so deep, he has to come out with another scripted condemnation to reassure the public that he's really not as racist as he sounds when he's trashing black people and Muslims but saying that we need to give offenders from the white supremacist demographic the benefit of the doubt.

He might not be a racist, but he plays one on TV. And on the campaign tour. And on Twitter. He is fiercely pandering to the white supremacist lives matter crowd.

Other people don't need to come out with scripted apologies because other people don't leave you in doubt about whether they're klan sympathisers or not.

Trump still leaves doubt. Maybe he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, but he damned himself in order to win white supremacist votes.

There should not be any doubt whether a president is a racist.

No one should pander to white supremacists for their support. Anyone who thinks he needs support from that quarter should set off warning bells.

It's rather astounding how artfully people weave around trying to create plausible deniability for Trump's racism ... as if it could ever be appropriate to have a president who needs that kind of image repair.

Actually Zimmerman DID murder Trayvon who was in fact innocent. Zimmerman joined the O.J. club of acquittal. What exactly am I to apologize for now?

Facts are that Trayvon was walking home from a convenience store. Zimmerman aka neighborhood watch crazy dude was alarmed that he was walking while black. He called police who told him to stay in his car. Zimmerman decided to ignore the police and get out of his car and confront Trayvon. He then claimed (no proof here) that HE was attacked, and shot Trayvon in self defense. In most states this would not work for Georgie, but Florida has crazy stand your ground laws, and obviously crazy juries. There is no evidence that Trayvon was not innocent, and no evidence that Zimmerman did not murder him.

The EVIDENCE you might think you have of my need to apologize is : you make a very false comparison between the two cases. In New York, the 5 were convicted based on their own forced confessions. That is fact that can be looked up.
Donald was very invested in their execution. Even then he loved to stir the flames of racial division. He spent tons of dollars aggrandizing himself, using this terrible crime to keep his own name in the paper. Years later, it was PROVEN that they were innocent by DNA evidence. Donald has never backed down from his position that they should have been executed.

If ever in the future Zimmerman is PROVEN innocent of slaying a teenager who was actually threatening his life I will consider apologizing for my view on this subject. I have never called for his execution being very much against people killing each other, nor have I spent time and money trying to bring about the execution of anyone.

I think most rational people would think Donald is out of line on this one.

Sorry, but this thread is not about Trayvon and Zimmerman. I used them as an analogy...not to spark up ANOTHER debate about them. Needless to say you fell in perfectly to show my point and I thank you for that again.

I can see how you cannot provide any factual refutation of my version of the event. As I stated twice now, it was a very bad analogy...doesn't match up at all. Is that something to discuss? Maybe we could discuss your insistence that up is down and that your point has been proven? No need. Trump has been playing games to stir up racial division for as long as he has been a public figure, as proven by his performance in the case of the Central Park Five. Now we are back on topic I believe.
