This country is now crazier than I have ever seen. This makes Birther and even Pizzagate seem tame. I read that the Qnon says that Obama and Clinton run a child slaver ring and that Tom Hanks is a pediaphile. And there are thousands who believe this crap and no one seems willing to tell them how stupid they are being believing someone who they don't even know. Apparently no one knows who he is and whether any of what he writes has any basis in truth. The one thing it does do is blames all Trump's problems on the "deep state" and of course that makes all the Trump cultists believe.

We have entered a new Dark Ages.

Oh no, not Forrest Gump!!
How does one even research what this "Q" is and what's being said and by whom??

“Q” = Putin. You heard it here first. Lol

Here's a hint: Politics are getting crazier because you and people like you watch CNN.

Ah, so you are one of the crazies that believe in the "DEEP STATE" and Qnon? I bet you listen to Jim Jones, watch only Fox News and Rush Limbaugh and Hannity are your hero's. Talk about Fake news. That is what we call propaganda not news. But you go on believing, as an American it is your right until that is, Trump changes it once he loads the courts with his people.

Sadly, true. Some of the same people that once rolled their eyes when I talked about Prepping are now actively getting their stuff together, the writing is on the wall all one has to do is step back and take it all in and realize it is going to all get worse.

Oh really?
Did people like us come up with nonsense like Q-Anon? Nope, that's one that belongs to you guys!

Prominent adherents to the conspiracy theory include Roseanne Barr, Curt Schilling, Ben Garrison, Laura Loomer, Cheryl Sullenger and Michael "Lionel" Lebron. Personalities such as James Woods and Jenna Jameson have publicly acknowledged the topic.

Yeah sure, the above are all avid CNN fans, I'm sure (/sarky) ;)

Q-Anon is an unhinged RIGHT WING conspiracy theory about a supposed secret counter-coup against the so-called "deep state".

It's promoted by people YOU listen to, like Jerome Corsi, Alex Jones and of course, Sean Hannity.

By the way, did you know that Sean Hannity is actually Nathan Lane? :lamo

I rest my case.

My Wife is driving home from Peoria after we went to a minor league baseball game. I’m dialing up the tunes on iPhone— no links.

She sang this one while I teared up.

I became aware of Qanon a couple months ago.
While it is alarming that anyone buys into this BS, I console myself with the fact that these true believers are really a small group---percentage wise at least.
Although, with the Pizzagate fiasco, we have seen how much trouble can be caused by one deranged wacko..........now I'm getting worried again.

You can follow Q's twitter feed here....https://qanonposts.com/
See if you can figure out WTF he's saying.
The real fun is watching youtube "experts" analyze Q's indecipherable language.
The comments addressing the YT posts are comedy gold.

When people watch the news on TV, they are also "believing someone who they don't even know". Do you also take issues with this?

Apparently no one knows who he is and whether any of what he writes has any basis in truth.
.

This applies to pretty much all sources of news.

“Q” = Putin. You heard it here first. Lol

Maybe......Q is very much pro-Trump.
I really think Q is a LARP....I mean would Putin actually solicit bitcoin donations as Q does?

Sorry, but most of those people have actual facts, unlike this Q thing.

I wonder who I know irl and in this forum who is part of QAnon.

Difficult to tell.
I will say that the Qpers get very angry at anyone who questions Q's legitimacy or accuracy.

I have a former facebook friend that believes all of this..and, she is a lawyer.

I kept calling her out on this and other crazy ufo stuff, she blocked me....she refused to argue about its veracity.

Crazy ass woman.

Now they believe that JFK Jr. didn't actually die, and he is actually Q and a Trump defender, and he is in videos in the crowd at Trump rallies, in a fake beard and wig.

What a stupid post. Qanon is covered on many sites. Or....do you believe in the dogsqueeze that the qanon people believe in?

I am not arguing whether people (be it Q or news anchors) have facts or not. I am just wondering whether you think people believing news anchors on TV to be problematic as well. It is also an instance where ordinary folks believe people that they do not know.

Yeah, I saw that.
The FBer who started that story "proved" his case by showing JFK Jr clasping his hands together in the same manner as the guy at the Trump rallies.
Pretty funny until one realizes that some people actually buy into this lunacy.
Then it seems a little worrisome.
