Italian PM Mentions Ca. Fires; Has POTUS?

I have noticed to that the so-called journalists are bored with this story this year unlike last year....it's been done.

It would be nice if we started to talk about things that California could do so that they dont have to do this every year...you know....fire risk management. Also the story how how California is trying to make the owners of PG&E be liable for last years Wine Country Fire or what ever we are calling it now (I hear that the wine industry demanded a name change) which could bankrupt the company and there is a real question about who then would be interested in owning power companies in California ever again...maybe the state would then have to do it themselves, and we all I hope know how bad their work tends to be.

Good for you. I am sure you were just as traumatized as Trump was, from whatever was done
Since its you and the others ****ting yourself because, while he provided emergency funding and federal relief days ago, he didnt give them a text or tweet, you would be hard pressed to prove that it isnt you that is traumatized.

Oh...wait...no...I believe you used the word 'petty' earlier. 'Petty'. I think thats a good descriptor.

See you in the next thread where you and others are poutraged over the stupidest **** on the planet.

I am not ----ing myself. I am just asking what happened in 2017 that was so traumatic to Trump. You will notice that I have not posted anything regarding the Cali wildfires in 2018, or Trumps response to it. I just want to know what Cali did to Trump that was so traumatizing to him in 2017. I am curious as to what it is, as I can not find it on the interweb

And yet, you keep going back to the horrific. The trauma. Its almost like you think being a douchebag is traumatic to others. Sometimes douchebags are just douchebags...and you recognize them as such. Douchebags...I dont much sweat. Not traumatized...not horrified...I just dont give much of a **** about them.

There is no game. There is a simple and direct question...one that you know the answer to but wont admit to. Which speaks volumes.
Dude, you’re being ****ing petty and you know it. At least have the integrity to directly say what’s really on your mind.

Its cute that so many of you are melting down over answering a simple question.

You said California did something to Trump after the fires in 2017, it must have been traumatic to Trump if it is important

Just checking in to see if Trump is still a jerk who is not even able to pretend to care about the suffering of Californians.

Yep, thought so.

Moving along again.

This is boring as ****, so lets end it this way. Say we are neighbors and we never really got along all that great. I'm a sonofabitch...you are a douchebag...and we both understand each other. But then, your neighbor on the other side of you has a cat that tears the **** out of your dog...because your dog is a little bitch. You are devastated and cant really afford to patch up your dog and really struggling. We dont really like each other but you know...we all have our moments of humanity. So I wish you condolences and go ahead and pay to have your mutt put back together. Afterward, you make a bunch of petty snide comments about the help you receive to your equally bitchy and petty friends. So...I go ahead and make a little mental note of it and carry on. Because we have already established...I'm a sonofabitch and you are a douchebag...and we understand each other pretty well. Then...6 months later, your dog gets its ass torn up...again...by the same cat. You are equally devastated and still cant put your dog back together by yourself. So...I go ahead and call the vet and send him the check and tell him to go ahead and do the work. But I don't offer you condolences, because...well...we have seen this drill before. And the thing is...its likely to happen again...and I will keep helping...but I wont bother with the condolences...because why would I?

No horror. No trauma.

If that doesnt make it clear enough for you...nothing will.

You people are so warped by your hatred. Its funny as ****.

REDDING, Calif. (BCN) - President Donald Trump signed an emergency declaration making federal emergency aid available to supplement state, local and tribal efforts in battling California wildfires, the Department of Homeland Security said today.

The state is battling raging fires in several counties. The declaration authorizes the Federal Emergency Management Agency to coordinate disaster relief efforts.

Trump declares emergency declaration for California fires - Story | KTVU
Trump tweets 'thoughts and prayers' to Californians affected by wildfire

Come on Vance, keep up with the times.

That was only an action.

The lefties don't feel good unless words are used.

And we're grateful that he saw fit to do that before he went back to his regularly scheduled wallowing in self-pity over self-created problems.

Californians don't need Trump except to sign on the dotted line to let them get back some of their tax money.

Case in point.

You don't care about the action, just what he says.

Didn't anybody ever tell you that actions have value and words don't?

You have it all backwards.

You're being coy. Your prerogative but I really don't have time for that dance.

The basic situation is Trump can't be bothered to pretend to care about the losses in California. But California doesn't need him except for that signature which they already got, to free up their tax money so they can help themselves.

Signing a declaration of a state of emergency is not caring to you.

Would it have been better if he made a statement and forget about the declaration?

Actually I believe their response recently has been "**** your thoughts and prayers!!"

Trump has mentioned the wildfires now.

Trump Accuses California Of Causing Wildfires By ‘Diverting’ Water To Pacific

As for people calling for Trump to speak about the fires, like the Italian PM, he did something more important - he took action and had a state of emergency declared. If you place more value on words than action then you have a priority problem.

As to the article, which many are lampooning Trump on, his comments were spot on. The first 10% of all our water is diverted to the Delta to protect a minnow that is also being raised in fish farms. Then comes the water use restrictions, farmers lost crops because of restricted water use, no big deal right, except California supplies 50% of the nations produce, without us the rest would have to scramble to keep produce on their tables.

As to clearing trees, you bet, but there are restrictions on doing so, even on clearing dead wood in the forest. And the hill sides that burn are loaded with dry brush ready to combust, think water might help that? or even an aggressive clearing program beyond what homeowners are tasked to do? The state has a mandatory 28 percent reduction on water use and fines if you do not follow the reductions. Instead of reducing much needed water and profiting from fines, or dumping the first 10% of our water into the Delta, why is there not an effort to bring more water to the state? If we can bring oil from Alaska and Canada through pipelines why can't we do the same with water? Certainly would not be any environmental hazard if those pipelines were to leak. Where could we get the money for that? We could start with dumping Browns high speed train, expected to end up costing up to up to $77 billion, for 800 miles of track and train that we don't need and few could use. That could go a long way to providing something that all California needs.

Their demands have nothing to do with the availability of water for firefighting. Fire agencies haven’t been complaining about a lack of water, especially water “diverted” to the Pacific. Major reservoirs are near the worst fire zones; the Carr fire is near Lake Shasta and Whiskeytown Lake and the Mendocino Complex fire is near Clear Lake. All are at or near their historical levels.

“There have been no issues getting water from them,” Scott McLean, a spokesman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire, told me.

Cal Fire, which is managing the wildfire battle, has deployed some 200 water tenders to the fire zone and is dispatching air tankers as flying conditions permit.

“The idea that there isn’t enough water is the craziest thing in the world,” says Peter Gleick, president emeritus of the Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security in Oakland. “There’s absolutely no shortage.”

In a strikingly ignorant tweet, Trump gets almost everything about California wildfires wrong

During the PM’s remarks at the White House, one of the first topics Mr. Conte brought up was the fires in the state of California. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...-minister-conte-italy-joint-press-conference/

I searched Twitter and other search sites, and I cannot find any reference to the current fires in California. POTUS tweeted last years SOCAL fires, but nothing yet this year? Maybe I have overlooked something?

He does seem preoccupied lately........

Baby Trump is unhappy with California so he will behave like the child he is and make stupid tweets about the fires.
