Trump seems to think that his "friendship" with the dictators of China and Russia will help him solve our problems with North Korea and Iran. I don't think so as those two dictators have their own agendas when it comes to those two countries. China does not want a united Korea or even peaceful Korean peninsula and Russia wants to use its influence with Iran, not to help the United States and Trump, but to make itself a larger area of influence in the world for Russia. So I don't see either China or Russia helping us with what we perceive as problems with either North Korea or Iran. Do you?

A mentally disturbed extreme narcissist like Trump has no friends. He only has people who are useful to him at any given point in time.

or people for whom he is himself useful to them at a given point in time.

In light of the economic pressure that Trump is exerting on China and Russia, what makes you think "friendship" has anything to do with it?

Trump is the type of person who is only of use to others when he figures he can get back several times to himself later in favors or future due obligations.

The only people that are hurting during Trumps trade wars are the consumers, not the governments. Trump could care less if the little people have to pay more.

And that is the name of that tune!

Irrelevant to my question.

Dismissed.

Just pointing out you are incorrect as the governments aren’t feeling any pressure. You are wrong as usual con.

Oh. Then you aren't aware of the various sanctions that affect both countries. You aren't aware of the trade deals Trump has made with other countries that affect both countries.

Okay.

If the only good to come from this was the return of several dozen remains of war dead, it was worth it. No one else in 70 years has been able to accomplish this. Can we at least agree on this?

In light that sanctions on both countries started before he came into office and he still hasn't placed the most severe sanctions approved by congress on the Russians, I wonder how you think he is using every pressure on both countries. And this tariff business is a joke. Trump has no idea what he is doing economically. He has always used bully tactics against those he perceived as threatening him. Look at how he has sued so many, even those who have tried to get him to pay his bills. And look at how many times he has gone bankrupt. Without the Russian money he borrowed he would be broke.

Let’s wait until the boxes are opened and examined?

Trump's friends have as much loyalty to him as he does to anybody else. The Russians have, in fact, repeatedly humiliated trump even after he believed something was said in confidence. Trump's ultimate loyalty is to a country of people who openly believe he's a pathetic fool. Surely that will only end well.

"The US does not have friends, it has interests."(Kissinger) The New World Order of unilateral control of the World by the USA didn't manifest as planned. Many Nations chose to be their own boss. Some that did that, for example, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Panama, Haiti, etc. were punished. The USA has the reputation of an International bully and well deserved. You know, we have to acquire resources for our Corporations and "Wars are good for business, and the business of the USA is war." The USA has not been an honest agent worldwide and perhaps a little isolationism would go a long way to cure the problem.
