Mueller Examining Trump’s Tweets in Wide-Ranging Obstruction Inquiry

He is trying to figure out the MOTIVES of the president when he is exercising his legitimate executive authority.

In other words, he has nothing.
 
This kind of Special Counsel side trip further proves the point. Its not about 'collusion'. It never was. And apart from the mindless hate filled leftists that **** themselves over EVERYTHING Trump does, anyone that ISNT a mindless hate filled leftist will see this as such. Mueller discredits himself.

LOL! He has plenty, including Trump's two public admissions that he fired Comey in order to disrupt the Russia probe.

The POTUS is not exercising his legitimate executive authority if it's in the furtherance of a crime.

This has been explained here countless times.

It's actually about what's known as 'conspiracy', and always has been, as any rational, sober adult knows.

Mueller has done nothing to discredit himself, nor can you demonstrate that he has.

I had the same thought after reading this drive by shooting from the NYT. In fact my MSM feed has been filled with anti-Trump crap today promoting all sort of conspiracies. It happened the day after Trump had success in negotiating with the EU on trade. The two things agreed on yesterday were the EU would immediately increase in purchases its soybeans and liquid natural gas. And they are working together to reach no tariffs between our countries. This was a message to Putin and Xi. Xi for months has been declining to purchase U.S. soybeans instead purchasing from Brazil, Canada, and others. With the EU committed to purchasing U.S. soybeans is a message to Xi that the EU is going to step up and fill the void.

Wanting to purchase our liquid natural gas was the cherry on the sundae. Putin's state energy provides close to 40% of Europe's energy needs. Putin uses energy as a weapon. The prices on Russian energy has been skyrocketing over the last recent years. It has also cut off supplies multiple times to places like Ukraine citing lack of payment. The last time recorded was in 2014 when they shut off supply to Ukraine in the middle of Winter. Many people died. For the EU commission president to pledge to purchase liquid natural gas from the U.S. was a message to Putin. It was also a message to Xi because they love our liquid natural gas with all their manufacturing but we only have two major companies in the U.S. that produce it. One is in Maryland the other in Louisiana. VP Pence visited the company today that operates in Maryland.


Tomorrow there is suppose to be very good news in GDP growth. I wonder what the MSM will be willing to put out there to stifle that celebration.

"Mr. Mueller is examining whether the actions add up to attempts to obstruct the investigation"

An investigation needs proof of something. You can't just cut and paste together a bunch of random stuff and call if proof. All Mueller can do here is form an opinion in doing this. Opinions are just opinions. They are not proof of anything. It would be worthless in a court of law.

Actually, you can. It's called building a case, establishing a pattern of criminal behavior. It's what prosecutors do.

LOL. Let's see now, Mueller's investigation has been going on for over a year now and produced nothing against Trump. And here we are just now looking at Trump's tweets from over a year ago and trying to "piece" them together. Mueller is about as incompetent as you can get and grasping at straws. You can't go taking random parts of tweets out of context, sew them together the way you want to and expect a jury to find someone guilty of something. That IS called a witch hunt.
