Why does Mr. Swampy need Russia's help in being President? The stuff he talked about in his tweet are NOT things that he needs help with. As President of THIS country he can do all that without asking for his master for help. Whatever happened to America First?

The Summit with Russia was a great success, except with the real enemy of the people, the Fake News Media. I look forward to our second meeting so that we can start implementing some of the many things discussed, including stopping terrorism, security for Israel, nuclear........

....proliferation, cyber attacks, trade, Ukraine, Middle East peace, North Korea and more. There are many answers, some easy and some hard, to these problems...but they can ALL be solved!

At least we have some vague idea what was discussed the first time around (or, at least what Trump wants us to think was discussed.)

I bet he wants to give montenegro to Putin.

More likely, he needs to get help on how to manage the blowback he's getting from being Putin's lapdog.

"Vlad, these Americans are being really mean to me, they're like bullies, they're really mean. Can I move to Moscow now? Being president isn't fun anymore like it was the first couple of days. Wadaya say Vlad, ole buddy?"

"No Donald, we need to build Moscow Tower first."

"I want it named Trump Tower Moscow."

"No Donald. It has to be Moscow Tower."

"OK." :(

It was such a resounding success, of course he'll go back to that well.
Putin gave him his orders, who is Trump to deny them? I mean, Putin gave Republicans a chance to stack the courts and piss of liberals, they love him too when it comes right down to it.

I'm sure posters 1,5 & 6 could do a much better job dealing with Putin than our president has done.
They sure seem to think they could. Actually your assessments of the meeting between two crafty world leaders
is pathetic.

In this case as in many others throughout the history of diplomacy, vigorous lying is indulged in & both men can handle
that type of verbal tug of war. IMO they'll be a few more of these sit-downs before anyone can assess a winner,
My guess is that Trump's management of all things Russia will sufficiently establish his claim that he's the man
most able to handle US interests vs. Russia, the other real nuclear power.

Perhaps Putin can show Traitor Trump how too shoot passenger aircraft out of the Ukrainian skies. Trump is a naive blowhard.

Oh no, Trump is going to continue to meet with someone we're not at war with... How will we ever get by with the constitutional crisis...

Wanting to solve problems on America's behalf is putting America first.

Remind me what problems were solved in the first meeting? If I recall, the press conference afterword was full of Trump slobbering all over Putin for his strong and powerful denials. Being Putin's lap dog was not an American problem until Trump found out a spine only gets in the way of pandering to dictators.

Why would you expect problems to be solved in one meeting? When attempting to make big shifts in strategy with countries we don't normally work very closely with, a long-term game is necessary. It seems to me that Trump is trying to develop a relationship with Putin for the future, and I find that to be a good strategy. And if you are saying no problems were solved, that goes both ways, so I'm not sure how solving no problems means Putin has Trump whipped as his lap dog. That takes some real mental stretching.

There was one crafty leader on that podium on Helsinki. The one with no economy that has been invited to piss on the rose garden this fall. The other one is the dunce cap that does not even know what his job is and has been tripping over his tongue ever since the Helsinki podium mess.

By the way, no evidence that congress has been briefed or that even departments of Trumps own administration have been briefed post Helsinki. None of the Intelligence heads had even been informed that the Putin visit had already been scheduled.

This is not a dictatorship YET Trumpians. That Trumpians applaud this authoritarian nonsense from Trump is disgusting....unpatriotic. But of course they don't care. They are entertained and that is all that appears to matter other than fighting a cultural war that is already lost....the very definition of dead and too stupid to fall over.

Very well said.

Again, there's a reason that Putin has not had America's ear and that previous administrations have had the good sense not to form a "relationship" with him. There must be a penalty for what Putin thinks and does and Trump does not understand that. He is too greedy and corrupt to even comprehend the American public's moral center is out of alignment with Russia's. He still seems to believe his celebrity and his bluster are enough to tame the monkeys in TV land. He treats us like we are as dumb and soulless as he is.

Yes, I'm saying no problems were solved. If they were there would be parades, not secrecy. Any problem they "solved" in secret is going to be as much a new, dark challenge to peace and democracy, worldwide. I hate to think of what those two evil pricks might conceive against us.

Once again what is the issue here some of you brainless left wingers find bad? A persident is talking to another president to try to prevent terrorism? Talking to one of the biggest super powers is a bad thing now? I swear, you thin skinned left wingers make everything out to be world war 3, except when trump says he would rather be allies with these people instead of fight, then you say that why be allies with bad people, so its either you might have to nuke each other, or hold hands, none of which you idiots prefer, even though Trump HASNT DONE ANYTHING for Putin, yet some are acting like he sold America to the Russians... Oh wait, that was the Clintons selling uranium to the russians and giving speeches for 500k, right but we dont bring that up, wouldnt want your tiny brains to explode thinking about the most corrupt family in history of politics.

Ah, so because you don't like Putin the USA shouldn't ever talk to him. Yes, other Presidents have tried to develop a relationship with him, they've just failed. So much of what you say is wrong, and then you use that wrong thought to build onto attacks against Trump. I personally want my leader talking to other foreign leaders, especially of foreign countries we don't get along with, because if our leader isn't talking with their leader how are we ever going to improve relationships? Then again, you've made quite clear that you don't ever want better relations with countries we don't currently get along with.

And people were afraid that Hillary would disgrace America

What discussions did you have Donald. Who has been briefed in our government...what are THEY doing as a consequence of Helsinki? Putin hit the ground running after Helsinki has already been sending off real policy instructions to his Ambassadors regarding how to take best advantage of his great victory in Helsinki....already making hay on the world PR stage.

What are we doing Donald....cleaning up your mess you card carrying idiot....and you want another one. Of course you want another one because you don't care how many messes you leave in your wake...you never have. You want another to prove to your people that YOU are the boss and THEY are only there to hold the mop and bucket.

People better realize that supporting Trump is supporting a loser! You are destined to support Trump all the way to losing the country you claim to love.
