Why won't the GOP subpoena her?

The Dems in the House and Senate Intelligence Committees wanted to subpoena the Russian agent recently arrested and charged by our DOJ. THe GOPers on the committees will not allow the subpoena's and they control the committees. Why won't they do so? Are they afraid of what she might say about the GOPer's she has met or even what she knows about the NRA and their ties to the Russians? It seems to me she might shed a lot of light on what the Russians are doing in and to our country.
 
If the Russians will never come to court, it doesn't matter.

You are effectively chasing ghost. I'm surprised nobody has tried to dox these individuals, because they too probably know that this is a dead end...

Let's at least attempt to flesh these threads out with rich access to the bare minimum "five W's and an H", okay?

WHO: Are we referring to Maria Butina, the Russian foreign agent who charmed Russian money into NRA pockets?

WHAT: Are we referring to the lightning quick "special law" that the GOP used to bar subpoenas to NRA personnel and IRS audits?

WHO: Who spearheaded the quashing of said subpoena attempt?

WHY: Why did they do it?

You obviously don't know a Russian Woman,was arrested in the USA yesterday.
