I was not a member during the election in 2016, but lurked occasionally and all the fur flying everywhere made me duck out, dim the lights and play some classical music.

I vote now we make a fund to pay the MODS a fixed amount for all the crap they will have to endure and deal with during that period.

Getting jobs in the private sector, much easier for whites in north America. It has been documented and shown that whites will get calls for interviews and hired at a higher rate than non whites.

Just being in public. It has been shown that in the US and in parts of Canada the chances of just being stopped by police for stop and frisk, carding etc are much higher for blacks, latinos etc than for whites.

That WP (short for White privilege) is not going to be an overt benefit for white people in North America, or always a known negative for non whites. As it is often more often a build up of longer term actions and events that provide the benefits and negatives.

Getting passed over for a better higher paying job, leads to less opportunity later, less likely to be considered for promotions. Overall less economic success for most non white than whites. Even in the tech industry it has been shown that whites get promoted to higher levels of management than non whites, even though non whites do much up a significant amount of the tech industry workforce (yes I know quite a few non whites are executives at some tech companies, we are talking about general trends not specifics)

As for the likely hood of being stopped and searched. I expect the overall % of people using drugs in the US is about the same among whites, latino, and blacks. But with a higher number of non whites being stopped and searched will result in a higher number of drug related charges for the non white, all due to the higher % of them being stopped and searched. We also have records showing that non whites get more severe sentences for the exact same crime.

Add in what Eco added and it is clear that life for white people in North America is easier, the chance of success for white is an easier path than for non white. It might not be codified into law anymore, but it does exist

A way to help get the concept in focus is to consider majority power privilege in regard to economics. The majority power is the 1%. A tiny minority of population but the majority power. Economic majority privilege is not being able to buy nice things and live nice places, that's just economics. Economic privilege is the systemic advantage in regard to how one is treated in housing, employment and the justice system. Forget what they buy and that luxury, the elite rich are treated different.
