a very interesting chart -wages and costs

First, do you have a link to the graph because it's damned near too small to read.

Second, I just remembered that I can hit the Ctrl button and scroll to zoom in.

Third, did you happen to notice that the three lines which showed the fastest increase are also the three things that the federal government provides the most "assistance" with?
 

I can tell one thing from that chart: wages outpaced inflation, which is what's supposed to happen. That wages did outpace inflation in part gives the lie to all the griping about income inequality. Additionally, that wages outpaced inflation is consistent with what Pew found some years back: that the middle class shrank because materially more households moved from middle income to upper income than moved from middle income to lower income.

It has absolutely been a healthy economy. in fact its been a healthy economy since WW2 though our ventures in ill advised foreign wars have cost us a fortune. Iraq being a wonderful example. But the Trump narrative and GOP narrative of a bad economy here has been utter garbage. That said, Trump is well on a path to screwing it up.
