I expect this to be "Go big or go home Trump" and there is a decent chance that he has something interesting in mind.

The most forceful and demanding Trump will get is to softly beg Putin for the courtesy of a reach around.

Even if he talks big before meeting him he's shown he's a coward in person. And then there's his man crush on Putin.

He can't even fire people in person and he showed how how brave he is on twitter, but when face to face with the British Prime Minister...

considering how dumb and probably compromised Trump is, i doubt that their "summit" will mean anything good for our country.
 
Okay, it may be just me, but trump’s statement insisting that he will be different with putin reminds me of that awful Shawn Mendez song “treat you better”

He's basing that on previous meetings and 2 years of observing Trump. I think if anybody is is wishful thinking it's you that is going against precedent. In fact one could make the observation you are quite gullible and naive.

I don't spin what Trump has said because of an agenda. I actually listen to what he says in its entirety before forming my opinion.
Trump has said it might not go well with Putin, hence I don't make wild ass predictions based on wishful thinking like the O/Poster did.

Who'll know? Has he decided another American can be in the room when he talks to Putin? Or is that even his decision to make.
