5 Men Could Overturn Legal Abortion In America

Until we actually have something based on her record or work, that is all we have to go by. Do you have any evidence to te contrary?

If you want to make the claim that she would "certainly" vote to overturn Roe, it's you who needs the actual evidence - not presumption - to support that claim. You don't have it.

I'm tired of men who believe that life begins at erection. That women will be used as "handmaids" to produce white babies to prevent brown and black people from outnumbering whites is obvious.

OMG! :doh

Carlin was dead on when he said:
Why, why, why, why is it that most of the people who are against abortion are people you wouldn’t want to **** in the first place, huh? Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren’t they? They’re all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you’re born, you’re on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don’t want to know about you. They don’t want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you’re pre-born, you’re fine; if you’re preschool, you’re ****ed.

Conservatives don’t give a **** about you until you reach “military age”. Then they think you are just fine. Just what they’ve been looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers. Pro-life… pro-life… These people aren’t pro-life, they’re killing doctors! What kind of pro-life is that? What, they’ll do anything they can to save a fetus but if it grows up to be a doctor they just might have to kill it?They’re not pro-life. You know what they are? They’re anti-woman. Simple as it gets, anti-woman. They don’t like them. They don’t like women. They believe a woman’s primary role is to function as a brood mare for the state.
Dead on..

I doubt you'll get an honest answer, but don't give up hope!

Yeah, she's a drive-by poster. She posts insanely ridiculous things and then never comes back to explain or debate.

So you are in a lotta pain.

I feel for ya, bro. How is your obamadontcare plan working out for ya, able to get prescriptions to help ignore, alleviate your suffering? :lamo :2wave:

Millions got health insurance.....so I would say its great!

True, I should have been more careful in my words. I just believe she was the most likely of the Judges on Trump's list to vote to overturn Roe. Barrett is in the same style of Scalia and considering even Ginsburg has criticized the legal foundation for which Roe is based, it seems likely Barrett would disagree with it.

That is a shame, I was hoping to see those mind reading skills in action. :(

A friends father growing up had a printing business. Used to print up big batches of multi colored tickets, hand them out by the load at public events. Free tickets, get your free tickets he would shout..and people would invariably come flocking..

Not good for anything...but hey, they were free.

Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court would present an immediate threat to Roe v. Wade.

Within a few years, five men could revoke a woman’s right to have an abortion in the United States.

President Donald Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is a clear threat to Roe v. Wade, the court’s landmark 1973 decision that essentially legalized abortion throughout the country. If confirmed, Kavanaugh would likely provide the fifth vote to overturn Roe ― a ruling that his predecessor Justice Anthony Kennedy protected as the court’s swing vote on abortion.

Yup. A for-real 5 man death panel, Republican style.

From what I've read that's inaccurate. At worst, they could kick the matter back to the states -- but that's the extent of it.

Wow. Talk about racism on full display. You do know that black women are 5 times more likely to have an abortion than white women? Which means that if what you said were to be true then conservatives would be FOR abortion. Not against it.

Funny how when you present an argument based on logic rather than ad hominem attacks and attributing nefarious motives certain people disappear from the conversation.

You do know that even a complete overturn of Roe V. Wade would not make abortion illegal for the majority of American women don't you?

Carlin was dead on when he said: Dead on..

Actually, that is rather idiotic.

There are a plethora of options available to prevent, kill, or give away the child, so having one is a deliberate decision on the parent. Why should society be burdened with the costs of raising the child based on the decision of that one person? If anything people should be discouraged from having children if they are not in the financial position to take care of their offspring.

7 people created the right to abortion.

The problem with legislating from the bench means the next group can do it too.

Since 7 people can decide yup make abortions legal so should that same system be used to make it illegal.

I'm all for putting an end to judicial asceticism. Will you agree?

Are women of color more capable of interpreting the Constitution?

The problem is without judicial activism the Left can't get the support it needs to further their agenda which is why they rely on Executive Orders and the courts rather then get the support they need to pass legislation while remaining in power. Look no further than the ACA and how Democrats went from practically the peak of their power to the lowest point in a 100 years once people found out it was not as advertised.

Is this perhaps the reason why they seem so angry?
